A large percentage of sellers, often most, at gun shows are not licensed dealers and thusly many untraceable gun sale occur. Often, if not usually, this translates to more untraceable sales than licensed. This indeed apply to all private sells which many of those private sellers make a very nice living doing so.
and you have personal knowledge on that?

Many aren’t bought on the streets. A HUGE number are bought at gun shows which have a loop hole that allow instant gun sales without any checks or tracing. These gun shows are going on every week in a short drive for practically anyone.
Well you bring up another one of your points.
if you ever want to take the family for a ride here in Chicago for a gun show, that’ll never happen because the shows are illegal here. Your free to bring your soap box. But, on the other hand you just might receive a Show of Guns without asking. Your navigation devise will take you right through so many once wonderful areas. Ask’m to show you their FOID Cards and CCW Permits.
Badges…, we don’t need no stinking badges. -

When I was growing up I remember outlaw gangs carrying (unregistered) “Zip Guns.” Of coarse as the saying goes, never bring a knife to a gun fight. As time goes on, so have criminal minds expanded only to put more of society in its jeopardy of life. Better Parenting is the 1st solution. THEN OUT LAW THE CRIMINAL and Untie The Hands Of the Police.

Happy Memorial Day to all us Slingsters.

SlingBlade,
Did you ever serve in one of our armed forces?
if the time came and you would be called to protect your fellow Brothers or Sisters, what would you do?
keep in mind our PoPo (even here in Chicago) do this on a daily bases.Even our law abiding citizens want to protect themselves, families and neighbors.

Mexico
Somalia and several other African countries
Cambodia
Afghanistan
Columbia (school shooting capital of the world)
...... do you need more.
I have been to these countries so they are the first that came to mind. While we are high on the "developed" countries list there are many smaller countries with higher numbers than the US. Not per capita but higher raw numbers. That is a fact.
.
you forgot Chi-Raq over here

I remember my (toy) 1st bow with those suction cup arrows.
Took those off and put the tips in a pencil sharpener and made targets on cardboard boxes. -
and another thing to think about
When Tesla first started building its super charging stations the charging was free for those who bought Tesla cars, now days that is no longer the case. Tesla cars sold today must pay to use the charger, but according to Tesla they only charge around 28 cent per Wh which they say is their break even point for running the stations - they do this so that it still is an incentive to but the car - - - also other places like hotels and markets offer free charging spots - again this is intended as an incentive to bring in customers
So what's going to happen to these reduced and free prices when the majority of cars are electric? - - I think its pretty safe to expect people to start to want to make a profit running these things - - - and what will become of all of the for profit gas stations? will they just go under or will they convert to for profit charging stations?
Just another avenue to Levi more taxes on the poor SOB consumer!

Gee, I guess with all this correctness I’ll have to ask the Mexican American Family down the street why is Mr. Vasquez whiter than me and has Red hair? But he is still called Mexican American.
Guess this phrase is old school also;
Would you make a Xerox and send it to me or a photostatic copy?
