I have one and was really surprised at how well I could hear everything. I don't have a stereo in my sling so I use it to stream music from my phone, and phone functions. My wife rides her own bike so we use it for bike to bike as she has Sena 10r in her helmet. I have a Sena 10r in a 3/4 helmet also but can really hear my music better from the Cavalry helmet. I hope this helps any other questions feel free to ask.

First off congrats on the concealed carry permit that's awesome. Second I also have a Kimber Ultra carry CDP II and love it, very smooth and accurate not to mention beautiful. All that said I got an inside the waist band for it and found it heavy and uncomfortable for every day carry. My solution, I got a Sig p938 and an outside the waist holster. Much smaller and easier to carry esp. with shorts. If I wore button down shirts a shoulder rig would work with the Kimber just fine. The thing I like about the little Sig is with a pocket holster I can hide in a jacket pocket or even cargo shorts pocket. You like everyone who carries will end up with a drawer full of holsters that's just the way it is lol. Again congrats on the permit and the awesome Kimber.

Its just part of the fun of having a slingshot I don't let it bother me at all. If you don't like the attention you can trade it for a Prius lol

I run a heated jacket liner off mine in cool weather never had a problem.

They dropped Slingshot all together. That's where I went for recall work they are not doing that anymore either. They didn't have any Slingshots on the floor at that time and they said they were no longer selling them. That's Babbits in Muskegon Michigan if we are talking about the same place.

True that, but its close to the same weight as the 4 we have and lots more power to start with.

I am in Maggie now and we are getting our afternoon shower but I can see it getting lighter already. The shower lasts about an hour then its over.

I drove down from Michigan Tues. off and on rain all day put on the rain suit and slow down in the rain. Pick your best 3 hour window and go.

I am in Gatlinburg now, been here since Tues. there has been 80% chance of rain everyday. It has been bright and sunny till about 3 in the afternoon then it pours for about an hour and dries up. I am betting on it being the same next week in Maggie Heck I already rode down from Michigan. I am not going to turn around now being this close just be careful and safe in your travels.

I have been in Gatlinburg since tues. rain in the forecast every day. It has been sunny with a rain shower every afternoon for about an hour then clears right up. Alberto might be a game changer but I am already here and not going home till after the event. I rode down from Michigan yes it rained off and on all the way down put the rain suit on and off so many times I couldn't count. But I am here and by God I am going to enjoy SSITS!!

I like to stay at smaller mom and pops places where I can park right in front of my room. A couple I really like are the
A Holiday Motel - Affordable Hotel, Motorcycle Friendly Hotel and the-cardinal-inn I have stayed at both and they are very clean and friendly. I am staying at Cardinal Inn again this year. Both places are with in half mile from the event site and tend to be cheaper than the big hotels. -
Motorcycle rain suit and helmet with a shield.

I am leaving Tues. to spend the rest of the week in Gatlinburg before heading to Maggie Valley on Sunday. Everybody travel safe and I will see you all in Maggie Valley.
