raining here - low pressure area seems stuck its moving so slowly that the same moisture that came through here on Tuesday has now circled back around for another shot at the valley - - not nearly as wet as Tuesday thought

Does anyone know of a can of white spray paint that I can buy that will match the white on our slingshot. I need to do some touch up and would like to get the right white to do the job. Thanks for any help.

You can get pretty good quality touch up paint at any car parts store, but what I did years ago was cruise around the dealerships until I found a new car that was painted the same shade as what I needed and bought a small bottle of paint from their parts department.

The newer models are, they are AGM and maintenance free. Only the early models of 2015-2016 had the larger group 26 battery that is not.

Not sure this is the right thread and there is probably a thread out there on this, but my buddies are all here. What do you all think of the "concealed Carry insurance" stuff. I keep getting adds from USCCA and others that say even if I draw my weapon only that I could go to jail.
Those ads are just a marketing ploy from "pre-paid legal" insurance attorneys with the intent of scaring uninformed gun owners into purchasing their service. You try carrying a concealed weapon onto a federal installation and most Native American Reservations, or pull your gun and point it at someone that hasn't clearly pointed one at you first, and that "concealed carry insurance" won't buy you a cup of coffee. All you'll get is an attorney that tells you you're screwed... lol

There is an issue with the OEM battery with the battery not being maintenance free. I will be addressing this issue today while getting the Grasshopper ready for summer riding by removing the battery, checking water levels, and cleaning up the corrosion. I will be making a point of purchasing a maintenance free battery when it is time.

I spoke with Tyler at ZZP a few days ago and he said it would be a few weeks or more before they had more brace kits in stock. The order has been placed with the laser cutter, but this whole virus thing has slowed production. I asked him to add my email address to their list of those they'll notify as soon as they're available.

Okay, don't anyone laugh, but I'm watching "Doomsday Preppers" on Netflix and couldn't help but wonder if anyone out there has had thoughts of secretly modifying their Slingshot into a "Bug Out" vehicle? You know, hidden gems, cleverly disguised as mods, that hide weapons, ammo, survival tools, or anything else you might need to get out of town fast. I know, I know, but I'm bored. Humor me... lol 😁

I recently had Autozone replace the battery in my Tundra with a 5-year battery that was smaller than the original, but packed more amps. When the time comes, I'll probably have the same type put in the Sling.

The caliper covers were the first mod to my new SLR. I know it wasn't much, but in my mind, they will always be my first and I was flattered at all the "likes" my post received ... lol 😄

I would be sold as well, but my sling is on extended warranty until may 2022 so I will have to wait
I don't believe an "add-on" such as that would void your warranty, however, never say never and never say always, worse-case scenario, if something ever went wrong with my power-train, I'd simply remove the brace before I hauled the Slingshot in for repair... lol

i have a JL woofer in the passenger side storage compartment. sitting still, the bass is deep and wonderful. at speed, it's almost as if there is no sub woofer at all. I guess the way the air moves when moving, interrupts the wave propagation from the woofer and doesn't get to my ears. any thoughts on this?
I'm not an audiologist, but if I wanted to sound like one, I'd have said the same thing. It sounds logical... lol

One of the Slingshot's weakest points is the yoke on the case of the right angle drive. Whether your Slingshot is stock or highly modified, stress shocks to the right angle drive (often seen from burnouts, hole shots, or getting off and back on the gas abruptly, can cause the yoke and/or the right angle drive case to shatter. ZZPerformance recognized this issue and developed our right angle drive brace to help reinforce the weak spot in the right angle drive.

I know I don’t have to tell anybody how crazy Ocasio Cortez is but her latest batshit crazy theory is this virus is “environmental racism” against black and brown folks. I would like to hear her explain Boris Yeltsin being moved into intensive care due to this virus. Do you get anymore white and privileged than he. She should be ashamed for even intimating that this disease discriminates against ANY race - it kills up and down the economic scale. I can only hope this woman is a flash in the pan and not now entrenched in the Dem Party like Pelosi has her entire life!!! She is supposed to be part of the solution - not part of the problem !!
