Anything happening with this?

Do it, won't be a problem.....jump ports aren't used often and if you need a jump you'd need to attach to the battery anyway.
-
what he said.

Is it the first time it has ever done this? Is it running good during all other conditions?
Sounds like the typical rev drop you get during certain driving conditions to me...
mine does it often....never been a problem

stock with a top ..... I don't think it will do anything north of 110 or 115.
-
that's the exact noise mine made. Only when moving off from stopped position.
-
yes it was....lol....but the ash tray was full so it was time to trade anyway.
-
no not yet....when diagnosis was made we pulled the trigger on the new one. The issue was clicking and popping upon acceleration from stop. I thought swingarm bearings but the tech said not.
-
- While on an extended trip the angle drive became very noisey. At 1000 miles from home we didn't want to wait several days for repairs so we traded it (2017 slr) for 2018 slr. The nav system is the bomb.

I'm wanting to tap into the hi beams with spot/driving lights:
The wires (black and red) going into what looks like a light socket just below the H9 bulb, what is that? Leading up to it the wires are black and yellow, colors change at the connector.Which wire is the one to tap into to trigger a relay for my spot lights.
-
I read last night that light bars are not allowed on the highway in NC so I guess a bar is out of the question. Spot lights however are allowed. Any first hand knowledge for spots that will give me down the road light with a little more side light. Not interested in cheap ones that aren't durable, want this to be a one time deal. I'm lazy, don't want to do it twice...lol.
-
also can you tell me about your light....watts, amps and length. Where did you mount it?
-
were you able to see farther down the road and how much further? Where did you tap in the hi beam circuit?
-
Need electrical help. I want to see farther down the road than I can now. Will a light bar do the trick and could it be tapped into the hi beam circuit so it'll go off when lights are dimmed. I'm sure a relay would be needed, I'm familiar with wiring a relay but need to be sure I can trigger the relay with hi beam circuit. Help please.

Hello to all and thanks for letting me join the forum. Just purchased a new leftover 2017 slingshot yesturday and I am happier than a pig in slop. I am still learning the forum and look forward to learning more about this new 3 wheeled thing.
Hey man, I'm 50 miles from you in Robersonville and welcome people to ride. I'm George James. If interested beesandbikes@gmail.com. I am retired an can go most anytime.

I may have to go that route but would like to have them under the seat cover for convience. Thanks anyway.

I have PRP Seats and ordered them with heat (we're in Wisconsin) to stretch out our riding season

You searched for Prp - Slingshot Only

ROSS is there an aftermarket element to add to oem seats that you know about. I Googled it but found nothing specifically for the oem seat on the SS.

Thx, may be doable.

Thanks Ross, I wasn't aware we could get heated seats. More info please. If I put in heat elements for her I may get lucky. Thanks.
