Mowed my lawn for the first time with my new electric, lithium ion battery powered lawn mower. Worked better than I expected it to but not quite as good as I hoped. I have a small yard (.21 acres) and it finished with about 25% battery left, but it wouldn't have if I used the self-propulsion the whole time. But my previous mower was heavier and the ONLY propulsion option was me ALL the time so I'm not complaining :P. ( uh oh, I think I hear Doc&Ruby coming to tell me what an impractical thing a battery powered electric mower is ;))

Just realized I'm going to have to burn an additional vacation day now if I want to come on Monday. 5/25 was Memorial day and a day off for me. Guess that's pretty much a non-issue for most here ^^.

    Thanks All,

BTW, I fubar'd. I asked Slingmods about the FZ-1, not the Neutrino! Still couldn't track down my email exchange, but I remember Slingmods answered with GREAT information. I remember posting on here while they provided great info that said it would NOT meet my needs and they lost a sale. But that they would get future sales (which they have) because of their customer service.

Oh, and I bought a similar cooling pad, same company, different model: Zonetech Seat Cooling Pad

I have an FZ-1 too. Currently in my parts box. Replaced it with the Neutrino. Bought both at Slingmods. Always great service.

You are so correct, but I still wish I had never bought it. Such a waste of money

To be honest, I'm feel sort of the same way. I guess I just don't have the fine motor skills or reaction time or whatever to really take advantage of it. Most of the time I just leave it on City. Anything higher and I have to be seriously careful with the gas and clutch when pulling away from a stop. It's nice during hard acceleration, like pedal-to-the-floor passing, etc but that's about it for me. That money probably would have been better spent on some other mod(s).

I'm outputting to a bluetooth transmitter to put sound into my helmet. We listen to music and audio books through the helmets.

Yeah, I bought a nice half helmet made by Sena that has their BT communications system built in. Great for tunes and phone calls etc. Adults don't have to wear helmet in SC, but I'll wear one on long interstate rides just to protect my noggin from flying debris.

Most of my mods are not visible either. My shock tubes are silver instead of black because I replaced the stock shocks with DDMWorks adjustables, and there is a small color matched accent strip on my mirrors, but that's pretty much it. Everything else is mechanical or electrical upgrades that don't really show.

EDIT: Forgot about my billet gas cap :)

Actually, it looks like although the new model is 60 total it only supports 20 on any one circuit. However, it also support combining two circuits to get 30. You can see the feature sheet here. screenshot below with the relevant features outlined in red.

From what I can tell from mine, combined with what I've read, it removes the baked-in latency in the throttle response. I don't think the relationship between pedal position and how far open the butterfly in the throttle body is changes. Just how fast it gets to the commanded position. IOW, without the PC, it takes X amount of time for the throttle to open fully if you slam the peddle to the floor. With the PC, it takes X minus some value based on PC setting. I think that's all it really does. I could be wrong, though. Exact technical details of it's operation from the manufacture are hard to find.

Yeah, I looked at the Neutrino too, or just a regular fuse box. The problem was that I eventually want to run a train horn and compressor that will get to 25-30amps which is too much for either. I really like the idea of the Neutrino, and if you're just running lights/leds, those would be fine.

The newer Neutrino Aurora, the one I have, is rated at 60 AMPS total.

SC under mandatory stay at home starting at 5:00 PM tomorrow.

The executive order, which the governor calls a “home or work order” is a mandate that states: “All South Carolinians must remain at home or work unless visiting family, exercising, or obtaining essential goods or services.”

DO not care much for pizza either, or Mexican for MACAWS they could all lose as far as I am concerned along with Hardee's, McDonald's, Burger King well you get what I am talking about.

It takes all kinds. My brother didn't like watermelon. That's almost un-Amercian ^^. My ex hated ketchup. To the degree that she would complain if I put it on my food while we were eating together.
