Got to drive mine to work and back (42 degrees) yesterday. Thank goodness for the heated seats. I still love the way folks give you a wave or thumbs up. But spring is coming the riding leathers will be put away, and driving it every day with out freezing Yeah

I love mine. I like the option of being able to take the front off, but not having to leave it in the garage. Installation took me a couple hours by myself. You will need a hand held pop rivet tool, but everything else (too include the rivets are in the kit).
It is PVC that is the support structure, not alum pipe.

Ordered a new NRG steering wheel, NRG Quick Release and the NRG Hub adaptor last night. Also order the Baker Luggage racks. Hopefully will be in next week for installation.

I have the matte finish, and I have no plans to buff it out. I like that the sun does not create a glare in my eyes when it hits it at a certain angle. Its easy to take care of - simple wash and dry (with my leafblower lol). Im just going to try different products for the black plastic to keep them looking good and not fading to gray.

They are projection lights - Mine has a different filter I hooked them up through my Neutrino fuse block for power Fit perfectly in the bottom of the mirrors Looks like a factory install

I installed some courtesy lights yesterday (one day I post some pics) on mine. They are projection lights that I was going ot install on my Valkyrie in the saddle bags, but I happened upon a post here. They are actually mounted in the mirrors, and if I dont mind saying, look really good in the dark

Sunday, had a great day. My wife is now a certified Slinger. She has been recovering from having foot surgery and has been biting at the bit to drive the SS. Sunday morning she got her chance - she was a little rusty in driving a standard, but after a couple miles around the block and getting used to the clutch and the width of the SS, she was doing great. Then, she hops on the freeway. Her jaws were sore by the time we got home from the big grin that she had. Guess I might have to start looking for a 2nd SS lol

I and the wife have the Big Yeti style cups (Wally world brand Bubba) Ive never had one come out the cupholders when empty (they have a pretty good mass)We use the long food grade silicon straws idea that Sam Owens came up That's why I was asking about the new cupholders Id hate to be covered by a lot soda if one came out.

That's my concern - a cup flying out of the holder while doing the twisties
-
Your not having any trouble with a cup trying come out of the holder when your driving? That would be my concern

my 19 is a work in progress (SlingMods I can see you grinning) lol
-
Wonder how an SS would do on that hillclimb
-
Im just wondering if it will be possible to incorporate some of the new features from the 2020 (lights, front covers) onto my 19. If not, I'm still very happy with mine. I do like where they cup holders were moved to.

Im lucky in the fact that I am in a great motorcycle association so there is usually a ride from March to December almost every weekend. And in my chapter there are there are 4 other SSs. Maybe next year take it up to Bikes, Blues and BBQ for a day or two.
