Dealer was able to fix it when I went in for my recall fix. Just had to do some rerouting of the horn wires.. Charged me for only 30 mins shop time so Im happy.

Just got mine back from the shop and into the garage between rain showers. I had a 2nd recall on my 19 SL ( only certain VINs) to replace some 10 Amp fuses and do a little work on my horn. No driving it for the next week with the current forecast of rain

Did about 300 miles Sat for a CVMA State Officers meeting - went from North Little Rock, via Cabot (had to pick someone up) and then to Mt. Magazine State Park. Took the long way back home. Great day to cruise, temps were great with lots of beautiful sunshine.

I never rotated the clock spring more that 45 degrees either way from center. I'm planning on pulling the short hub off again this afternoon, and put some heat shrink on the horn wires.

I installed a new NRG shorth hub, NRG Quick Release and steering wheel. I followed the install video from Slingmods. Now, when I turn the wheel, the horn goes off. It will sound off even when the steering wheel is not attached and I turn the hub. Any ideas what could be going on?

Its not the OEM Slingshade, its the Slinglines Flip Top Modular Roof System Aftermarket from Slingmods.

Install was not too bad. Maybe an half hour for the initial install then tweaking the racks out. My top does not interfere with the racks at all. They install to the original rollover bars. Sorry for the sideways pics

Did about 200 miles yesterday with some of my brothers from my CVMA Chapter. Great day to take the front part of the roof off and enjoy the sunshine. Did a route from Cabot, AR, to Drasco (just north of Heber Springs), then Batesville for lunch, back through Bald Knob and then home. First nice day to really enjoy. Loving the SS more every ride
