Did a couple of rides. Just got home after hitting a down pour. Couldn't see where the road was. Lexani's worked good except when driving thru huge puddles. Like most tires.

Exhaust outlet Bolts I have the offical Sam Owens Service Manual
Thx where do I get that manual
-
37 lbs. / ft. And recheck after a couple of heat cycles
Thx couldn't find that on the torq spec sheets I have
-
what's the torq spec for header bolts to exhaust?
-
I just like the looks but not fie 3500.

Would like wilwood brakes but wat took much $$$$. I've gone 90k so far on the oem pafs without stopping issues. But I'm not a screaming rider. No pulley under 105mm for me. Don't wa t to invest in the extras needed.

I recommend to anyone buying a ddm supercharger to have a 2.5 exhaust and buy the 105mm pulley and belt. It's just allot easier to install these 2 upgrades from the get go. Of course you'll need a new header if you still have the stock header. I thought I'd stay with the 1320 header, cat delete and stock muffler. That lasted 3 months. Once you boost you want more! 😏

I found the exhaust leak and installed the 105mm pulley. I needed help from my 87 year old friend installing the belt. It takes 2 people. One under the sling and one holding onto the belt so it doesn't fall down. I think the smaller pulley made the power band even smoother. We rode for our 191 mile ice cream ride. I drove like I normally do with the wife. Not getting on the sc too much. Most speeds below 60. I got 32.5mpg. I'm happy and the muffler was quiet unless you get on it. I'm a happy camper.

Put on the 105mm pulley. Did not take it for a ride. Too tired with all the heat. Having a cocktail and will try later. Oh, Walmart 5qt mobil1 22.37.

Been there, was distracted by a pretty girl and driving down the road felt like I forgot to reinstall so I pulled over and sure enough. I doubled back about a half mile and was lucky enough to find it in the middle of the road. Untouched and no damage! Now I carry a universal gas mower cap that fits perfect should I forget again.
Yes, I lost, forgot, mine so I also carry the universal gas cap. I also took another members advice and put the cap on the driver's seat while filling up.

I didn't boost my 2015 until this past winter and 78k on the clock. To be honest, I just wanted something different after 5 years of riding and couldn't see spending 25k+ for a new one. That's the main reason I boosted. Allot less expensive then trading up fir a machine that really didn't offer much.
-
Yeah, but if you boost you need 2.5".

Wife wears helmet modular hjc. Me, only if it's raining and I brought it along. Must admit I never bring it along.

EricRedSL glad you like your new exhaust! Please tolerate someone who knows just enough sometimes to get themselves in trouble but I am interested in understanding the cat delete pipe. I asked if it was louder because without the cat it’s a straight pipe but you do still have the muffler. Is it just a flow issue? In other words the engines going to breathe better without the cat is that the advantage?
I'm not a mechanic. I bought the cat delete to try and reduce the passenger heat. Also, was hoping to get alittle performance boost. Can't really remember if I got any of those since I put it on in 2016. Wife never complained about cabin heat after installing along with polaris heat kit.

I have 89,000+ on the oem original pads. Once in awhile I wished I had more stopping grab in tight situations but no accidents so far. I'd like the wilwood upgrade but 3,500 is crazy money. When the pads need replacing I may consider new rotors but not a have to have.

I went with the medium size baffle today on my plm muffler. Made a noticeable difference in the noise level. I wonder what the small baffle would do to the sound. I can't use because I'm boosted. Overall impression, I like it but knowing I need the 2.5" due to boosting, maybe that taints my opinion. If your not boosted I would stay with the stock muffler.
-
152 mile jaunt with smaller baffle in exhaust. Sound was good.
-
Went for a 152 jaunt with the new silencer on the muffler. Sound was good.
-
Hmmm, I'm running the largest size baffle. Vendor says smallest would be the most sound reduction. Since I'm boosted I can only use the 2 larger baffles. So I might try the next size down since I'm running the largest just to see what it does. Stay tuned...

Since I had the cat delete on since 2016, I can't compare. But it is very quiet. If your interested buy it, if you don't like it shop it back for a refund. Shipping not included.
