My wife always says slow down. She hasn't said a thing since I installed the supercharger. Go figure?
Display MoreDealer today. OF COURSE NO traction control lights allll the way there and allll the way home. NO codes in the computer - like it never happened.
Result: We have a record of your visit and should it happen again we will cover it.
The only thing they mentioned was that my rear tire is not down to the marker tabs but very close. They said the system may have been working properly in that the tire doesn’t have as much traction so thus the light .
But if that’s correct then why no lights today? And today I was solo and she seemed to be running a bit faster for some reason 🤭.
The ghost still rides with us...
Think the dealer is !
Got out for a little ride today... Lake Dillion Colorado... Went to visit a couple of friends who were "camping" in their RV.
Allot nicer scenery than my photo of Jon's deli!
Perhaps, however when we tour there’s always at least an extra hundred pounds worth of packrating going on😎
20k out of a back tire? My head is spinning on that one. Can’t even conceive of that however perhaps the tires that I buy are more sticky.
My current back tire has 16k and it's time to replace. Must be the sc!
Still on the road. Took a 90 mile jaunt to favorite deli in laconia nh. Getting ready to head back the longer way.
Anyone getting over 112-14,000 miles on a rear tire is doing really good. Us boosted guys get around 4-5,000 usually. But spinning the tire is a lot of fun.
I'm boosted. But not into tire shredding. Maybe once on awhile 😁
Maybe we need a thread tire wear for speed limit driving and spirited driving. I do both but tend not to see how much rubber I can leave on the road. I grew up a long time ago.
Man, I don't know how you guys drive only getting 5k out if a tire. I get 40k on fronts and 20k on rear. Maybe it's hot weather down south or out west that eats tires.
Never check between oil changes.
Display MoreGunna try this tire. .79" smaller width wise but a whole lot cheeper than the 305's I have been seeing. 150$ and the way I have been going through them I can get 2+ for one Toyo so we shall see.
Falken / Ohtsu FP8000 High Performance Tires 285/30/20
Lexanitwenty 305/30zR20 103y 172 from simple tire free delivery
I was just offended because it was to short!
Just another reason to not upgrade. Same old issues.
Goats_Hogs what air pressures are you running with the Lexani tires ?
Ran 30 in for 15,500 miles. Center was wearing so I dropped to 28. Seems to ride softer.
just turned 82k last night on 2015
Ordered a Lexanitwenty 305/30 zr20 from simple tire June 2nd. Arrived today June 6th, pretty good service. Best price and free shipping. Looks huge when off of rim. 16k on current tire on right.
Did N 80 mile loop to Portland and Beach for cooler temperatures. 95 at home 77 at beach
I have to come clean. I bought one years ago. Did not fit. I had no extension. Willing to sell for $20 including shipping. I can send photos if needed.
Ordered my oil from Walmart on Thursday and it arrived today Saturday. 22.36 per 5qt jug free shipping over $100 so I ordered 6. Can't beat that!
Yep, I'm at 28 and know of others as low as 26. Just remember the shorter the side wall is the easier it is to damage a wheel if you go too low
I'm running 28 now. May be placebo affect but ride seems much better.
