This is what I found today on my stock battery. Cleaned it and checked acid levels.
Mine has less than 300 miles and looks new. No major power draw that I can find with a voltmeter. Was registering 10.1 volts, pathetic...

I'm so pissed right now I can barely type. Long story short went to start the slingshot today, exactly 7 days since I last started and BAM, dead battery....
Ive glanced at the battery posts before but thought since I bought a 16 this must have been addressed... Apparently not...
I'm going to start doing the research but wanted to get a feel if there is a definitive solution. Please don't suggest an Optima as I went that route back in 2004. Started with a red top, lasted 2 years. Went to a yellow top, lasted 2 years. They have great marketing but in my opinion their batteries suck...
So coming from the high hp car world nothing is better than michelin pilot cup 2's (Or michelin in general). Has anyone run these?
So I have a 2016 and I had the dreaded power steering light go off this weekend. Power assist was gone so I stopped and shut her down. I waited a minute and restarted and all was normal again. I know there is allot of chatter about this but was curious if you guys think i should take it in or not?
Better to go on the side of freedom of expression. These things will work themselves out on their own, they always do. I believe the majority of the members here came here to get away from locked/deleted threads and censorship. If it's more of the same why would we even be here... JMO
We order it through a place here locally called Denco or from Sign warehouse out of Texas
Give fellers a try, they will beat any price and have offices in cali.
I kinda got that from your name that you had to be in some kind of print business!! Not many would understand CMYK Pro!! Lol where are you located? Your job on the cutting table says Vacaville and we have one of those here in Cali.
Yours and anyone else's I'm put are ALWAYS welcome!
To date the only issue I had with Oracal was a crushed roll on delivery and the took care of it without a hitch. I even got to keep the old roll and salvage most of it!
It actually says "Vacall", we were doing some custom tradeshow booth work for them.
I am out of Ohio close to Cleveland. Not quite the sunshine state like Cali but we call it home.
Do you order your Oracal from Grimco or Fellers?
Thanks for the heads up brother! In the years I have been doing this I have never had a problem with the Oracal brand vinyls. I will definitively keep your brand of choice in mind should I start having issues with them in the future!
Thanks,
Jonathan
No problem. I have been doing this so long I would hope my input helps. Haven't used Oracal in years so perhaps they have gotten better.
Here is a pic of one of my flatbed cutters. Using the router attachment on pvc here but also do allot of roll to roll contour cut vinyl.
Sorry for the hijack, i'm just a print nerd.

As a father to 2 young daughters myself I commend this father. Crimes of this type are the reason we need to bring back public hangings...
happy happy
Thanks for the info guys.
Did you find an available tapered needle adapter yet?
Yes I did. I had to buy a kit of adapters that had one in it. I'm not opposed to having more tools in the arsenal so it was a good buy.
So I tackled everything but tranny flush tonight.
All went well but I am a bit nervous about how the angle drive magnetic plug looked. It was caked in crud and my ss only has 250 miles on it. The fluid also came out milky like what oil looks like when water gets in it. Is this normal???
So I bought the prp seats but still have concerns about heat. With that said I might be interested in picking up a top after all.
The only two I like are the twist and Bullet Speed. Can any owners of either talk about pros and cons of each?
Also special order and not in stock.
This one will work : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wmr-w54216/overview/
.
Yeah that is the one I was looking at but it is special order. Will any of the in stock ones work? Thank you for the help sir.
Summit Racing is right down the street from me. Would any of these work?

Ironic that I already bought that exact pump last week!
For the U-Joint are you saying I remove the cupholders? If so how is that done?
I'm also not familiar with a needle nozzle. Is it just something that adds length to fill or does the needle itself need to be had to mate up?
So I'm doing my oil, tranny, and angle drive oil this evening. I do not have the fancy race ramps so am making due with what I have. I plan on doing graduated blocks under the front two tires to get the front end up. Once it's up I was just going to jack the rear. Is this way OK and should it give me enough clearance to get to everything I will need?
Thanks!
So I tried the smallest baffle and am finally happy. There is no more drone and it is much quieter just cruising around. It is still loud under WOT but that is what I was going for so I'm a happy camper...
