Just wondering if anybody knows where I could pick up an Alignment Kit for the Slings. Looking on line all morning...still can't find what I'm looking for.

I’ve always had good luck with All out Cycle. I have confidence that they’ll get it fixed. It’s just something that they’ve never seen before. They said, and as far as I can see, nothing was wrong with anything as far as A frames, and suspension goes, it just looks like Polaris left out about half the shims on the top of the A frame. They said they ordered the shims, and all came in, except the thinnest ones which are used for the fine tuning. Makes ya wonder, if they have all but the fine tuning shims, maybe there’s others that have this problem.

Keep me posted on the fix, if you don't mind. Maybe we all can get together on one of the wrench nights to take a look at everyone's Sling, just to make sure we are all tracking good. On the next wrench night, I'll shoot you a PM to let you know. What area of Virginia Beach are you located?

just got back from dealer, slingshots been there for 3 weeks. When I took it in, I told them I thought that camber might be the problem, because I had put a big level on side of tire and it seemed to me to be way off. They said, never had that problem, no adjustment to fix that. I showed him where their were shims that was there for something. New guy I talked to today read the mechanics report, excessive camber alignment problem. Said they were Waiting on parts. I ask what parts, SHIMS. Said each wheel was almost an inch off.

Contact Brewer's in Henderson, NC. I can't remember if they have Laser Alignment, but they will steer you in the right direction on how to address your issue. Let me know if you want to trailer your Sling down there. I have an enclosed trailer. Thank you FunCycle for the bump. We will get him taken care of, one way or another.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting back together and riding soon. It looks like Maggie Valley is out of the picture for me and Velma this year. Gonna have to come up with some type of an alternative.

Ya'll take good care of yourselves. I'll see ya soon.

Welcome to the family. There are a few riders in the area. We make sure to get together often for rides, wrench nights,...and helping new members spend lots and lots of money on mods. This weekend, I'm helping one of the guys install a roof, new seats, shocks, and new wheels.

After all this rain passes, we should all be back on the road...social distancing is easy at 80MPH. I'll shoot you a PM with my number and address.

Good morning everyone. Velma and I have been in constant contact with Luann. Last night, we suggested she get on the Forum, and see some of the heart-warming posts the members (family) have left for Rob. After spending about 20 minutes trying to give her my access, I remembered she could visit the site as a visitor. DUH!!!

I just wanted to pass on to all of you Luann's heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation for such a outpouring of emotions. Your memories of Rob have meant a lot. She always knew he was something special. Your kind words and vocal memories of your time with Rob just verified that for her.

I know that as the days, weeks, and months go by, Luann will experience a wealth of emotions. Some good, some not so good. I'd like to ask that each and every one of you keep a prayer in your heart for her and the family. I know that she would appreciate every thought and prayer.

Before I go, I'd like to send out a special shout out to Bu11sh1t and Bill Martin. Back in 2017, Harvey and his wife planned a trip to Louisiana to visit with Bill and Angie, and they thought it would be a good idea if Velma and I went along. After we got down there, Bill planned a Slingshot ride to show us around and take us to the Tabasco Plant for a tour. Bill also told us he was inviting a friend and his wife to ride with us That friend...was Rob and his lovely wife, Luann. Thus began a wonderful relationship. The rest is history. A history I will cherish forever.

Good evening, my Brothers and Sisters. This evening, Heaven welcomed it's newest member...Mr. Robert Payne, affectionately known as Rob the Slob. Just a few moments ago, Rob succumbed to his long fought battle with cancer. Details are still a little sketchy, but all I know is we have lost a great person this evening. His wonderful wife Luann just called my wife to let her know that he was gone. I'm taken aback by all of this, but as soon as I am able, I will pass on as much information as she allows. For now, say a little prayer for the both of them. Hold you loved ones just a little bit tighter tonight. And don't forget to them how much you love them.

The world is a little bit more lonelier tonight.

    Larry,

I am so sorry for your loss. I can still remember meeting you and your Father for the first time at Jared's house. What a hoot!!! The moment I met your Father, I knew he was special person. I, too, was a recipient of "His Card", and will cherish it forever.

May you find comfort in knowing he is at peace and in good company now. My Father passed in 2015 and my Mother in 2019. I giggled just a little bit, thinking that they may run into each other. Now, wouldn't that be nice!

We are here for you Brother. Let us know if you need anything from us.

Well Happy New Year my friend.

    Thanks

I seemed to have missed out on wishing all you fine people a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!:(

    Well, @#$!% Happens!!!!

Looks as though Velma and I will be in Clarksville for both the Wine Festival AND the Slingshot event! I believe I told you ya'll she likes it over there!! See ya' soon!!!!

I had the same issue. My wife and I decided to take a 3.5 hour road trip to Brewer Cycles in Henderson, NC. I could have opted for a 4-mile drive to my local dealer...but that is another story, for another time.

I told the folks at Brewer's that I had already purchased and installed a new knock sensor. They did some trouble-shooting, found no problems, and reset the Code. They also did "all" my Recall work...minus the battery fuse block. Everybody needs a place like Brewer Cycles in their town. Great service, and great people!

I am going to be in the People Republic of California - it is scary out there

    I'll second that!!!!

Too bad I'll miss you on this trip. We gotta get something drummed up so we can get everybody back together again!!
