I'm completely in love with the GIVI setup!!! But right now, I'm operating on a restricted budget...She's in the kitchen right now. Guess I will have to wait until she is in a better mood. This may take awhile and another weekend getaway!!!!!!
@Tripod I actually worked with your daughter while she was at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. She was part of the ICU/Special Precautions Unit and I handled their Respiratory Protection Program qualifications. I work in the Command Safety Office at NMCP and manage that particular program. Small world. I'm quite sure she is already receiving fan mail from the folks she worked with, but with your permission, I'd like to share her address with them. I served proudly for 24-years in the Navy. I consider myself very fortunate to have an occupation that allows me to continue to give back to our servicemen and women!
@kenny_h I saw a picture of your Sedici setup and decided to hit up the local Cycle Gear store and purchased a set yesterday. For $111.00 each, I doubled my storage capability. The bags securely fasten to the driver and passanger hoops/rollbar-thingy via two sets of more than sturdy hook and pile straps. Planning a little getaway for the wife and I this weekend. The bags are a great addition. Soon as I get a free moment, I'll provide some photos. Thanks for the idea.
Hmmmmmm! This just might be my "One -Stop" shop. Well, consider me "joined"! Is that word?!?! Oops...off topic!!!!! Sorry.
Surfing two SS sites...got wind of a little dissension...still in the dark about the "differences". Just want to find a place to settle down and get down to the business of "getting in the know" about all things SS!!!! Now I've got to keep up with three forums!!!! The only reason...I don't want to miss a thing!!! Pretty catchy title for a hit single. Whatcha' think?
