seriously we live in a country where they let killers and thieves walk free in our court system as it currently is yet they want to jail or ruin a political opponent for not giving the right property values when getting a loan, a loan that he fully paid back - - - have you ever even heard of someone, anyone being tried for something like this? And now it's suddenly a huge crime when it's the primary political opponent to the establishment? - - if the doesn't raise red flags then how about fining someone for defamation when they call their accuser a lier when they accuse them of a rape - that he has never been convicted of? personally I think publicly telling people someone is a rapist is defamation unless they have actually been convicted yet the political opponent to the establishment is being gagged from saying its not true and then finned huge amounts - - - I dont care how much you might hate this man, this is just wrong, its third world dictatorship bull shit and if they are not careful it going start a war - a real war - too many of us old-timers were taught this was never acceptable and its in our DNA to do whatever it takes to make sure America does not go down this rabbit hole

I agree with your points to a degree...

1. In Russia or Cuba I believe they would not just ostracize the Donald, they would jail him and somehow he would get poisoned..

2. Are you willing to really fight for Donald going to jail. (I know there will be a thought regarding a principal, but would you actually risk your life or your family's life for that principal) A civil war would decimate what little America we have left and personally I do not believe most people will not want to take up arms against their neighbors for that cause. If we all just take a moment to stop watching the media, and listening to the Donald or Grandpa and all the explainers, experts, influencers we would all be better for it.

3. As was stated, if the Donald would just stop with the constant meaningless BS not nearly as many people would be disgusted by him. I know some will say, that is no reason not to vote for him... but to a lot of people that is the only reason not to vote for him. As has been said many times, peoples dislike for the Donald has created the "I'm not voting for Biden, I am voting against Trump." There is a large difference between being woke and being civil.. Most of the Donalds problems are directly related to him and his ego's insatiable desire to promote "him" not his ideology as the best thing since sliced bread.

I agree with you.. and certainly no offense taken here. I was just pointing out what I thought of the meme and also did not mean to offend anyone. I meant no inference to the validity of your post, only what I thought of it.

I hope my post was not taken as emotional, only as an opinion regarding the meme (which some will take to heart). The purpose of this discussion thread is to do that, discuss, not to agree or disagree completely with one thing or another. Thank you for posting it.. I know my views are not very popular on this thread but I honestly like a balance and not just one side. I know it says Conservative politics, but also says daily events discussion...

After just returning from fee nix, I can say this is pretty true...

HOW TO DRIVE IN PHOENIX:

1. You must first learn to pronounce the city name, it is: FEE-NICKS'. There are other names to learn such as Awatukee (Ah-wa-Too-Kee) but that will be included in the advanced course.

2. The morning rush hour is from 5:00 am to noon. The evening rush hour is from noon to 7:00 pm. Friday's rush hour starts on Thursday morning.

3. The minimum acceptable speed on most freeways is 85 mph. On Loop 101, your speed is expected to at least match the highway number. Anything less is considered 'Wussy'.

4. Forget the traffic rules you learned elsewhere. Phoenix has its own version of traffic rules. For example, cars/trucks with the loudest muffler go first at a four-way stop; the trucks with the biggest tires go second. However, East Valley, SUV-driving, cell phone-talking moms ALWAYS have the right of way.

5. If you actually stop at a yellow light, you will be rear ended, cussed out, and possibly shot.

Well, I hope most saw through the DJT stock hype.. With Truth Social loosing around 58 million dollars in 2023 compared to only about 4 million in profits... buying into that debacle was a sure loss having dropped 35% in 4 days since it's opening high of 79$ now trading at 51$.

To sum this up in terms of Paper wealth. Mr. Trump has lost about 1.4 billion on paper from the original 4 billion in new wealth he claimed last week... To me those are big numbers even though they are just on paper...

I think we may be missing the point of valuation and sale price.. This was recently pointed on regarding Jon Stewart where the valuation (city, county state or what ever) says the property is worth 800,000 to a little over a million, but the property sold for just over 17 million.

The Donald's valuation may be only 18 million (and that is what he pays property taxes on) but I am guessing he could sell it for much more... I would say he would be complaining even more if he had to pay taxes on 1 Billion for Mar a Lago and not on the 18 million...

A quick example, my house is valued by the local government at around 450,000 (that is what I pay taxes on) but houses in my neighborhood SELL for double or triple that amount.

Just a thought.
