Understandably this story was pushed hard by the Biden administration as it should be. This situation should never happen. Now we are finding out the back door details. Let's see how hard they push publicly at the root cause that placed this poor child into this life changing event. Will they drop the story or speak publicly now that the political narrative may not be favorable? Is it about the little girl or are they concerned about the political gain?

Would love to do this one but helping the granddaughter with a move to North Carolina that weekend:(. Looks like fun, fingers crossed for good weather!

My brake failure light came on again today. I tested the moisture in the fluid it showed as 4% (highest on the scale). Thinking possibly the moisture is vaporizing in the system. Can't compress a liquid but the water in the system may be heating up, boiling. The speed bleeders above are correct for a 2017 SL. I installed them on all three calipers, suctioned the master cylinder and filled with fresh fluid then pushed through 24 oz of fresh fluid while bleeding the system. Rear first, right front second then Left front last. I love speed bleeders! Brakes feel rock solid! I didn't realize they were a bit mushy till I did the bleed. Took a test ride, all is good. Time will tell if all I needed was a flush and bleed? If not, I'll go back and replace the pressure sensors.

An old friend I worked with called yesterday morning. I haven't seen him in about 17 years. He stopped by the house, we took a ride in the sling with a lunch stop. Let him drive for a few miles. He Loved it! I don't get a chance to ride in the passenger seat much but it's a great experience with a different feel. Lately I've been seeing other slingshots on rides more often than not. Sometimes multiple siting's.

Dose the pup get to enjoy a ride in the Slingshot?

I would love to take him for a ride, but he's a scaredy cat when it comes to car rides. We think he may be afraid it's about returning him to the animal welfare. He was returned twice and transported to different welfare locations before we picked him up. Only he knows his past. He is finally getting around to settle on car/truck rides. He is very nervous on initial destinations but usually sleeps on the return trip. Perhaps sometime down the road?

I don't think he's on here... but Pete a friend with the mountain lion custom hood sling stopped by and dropped me off a present. Just saw these popping up in a few new colors but couldn't find any - love it! I give out red ones to kids, but would love to find more of these to give out!

Wow, I've been looking. Is this a sign perhaps the supply chain is opening up?

    I have a 2017 SL

My break failure light came on a few weeks back and after a restart it stayed off. After 1000 mi. plus change it came on again. Restarted and it's been off. I decided to order a brake pressure kit which contains 2 brake pressure switches, 4 stat-o-seals + lubricant for the seals and a shop towelette. P/N 2207836 OEM Polaris part

Also 3 ea. speed bleeders. part # below provided by Speed Bleeder Products (for a 2017 SL) and ordered off their web site. They claim it's a 10X1 and this is the proper length as below for the front and rear.

I decided to look up equity. The top is what is being pushed. Life experience in red.

    Reality

Person “A” in the blue shirt is 50 years old. He has worked is whole life. Started out working multiple jobs and saved his money as he moved up. He saw a need to produce wooden crates. He invested his life savings at a great risk and has hired 20 workers. He gets up at 5 a.m. to go over business details and ensure thinks are running smooth for his business and his customers.

    Equality

Person “B” in the red shirt is 30 years old. He is hired by person “A”. He is dedicated, gets up at 7 a.m. to go to work every day and works hard to provide for his family. It’s not easy but he is making things work and has the same equal opportunities his boss has. He makes things happen for himself, his family and the country.

    Equity

Person “C” in the purple shirt is 25 years old. He doesn’t have a job and has the day off. He's woke and would like to enjoy all the benefits he is entitled to as a human being. You can see in the reality picture on the left he made his choice to start digging himself a hole. By the time he reaches 30 years old he will start to look for justice.

    Justice

Justice is supplied in the form of socialism. Social justice today, a collective society where a vote is harnessed with the promise of unearned benefits. These benefits are provided through the efforts of person “A & B".

I have to admit. I do like the metric system. Wrench to big, go one smaller. Wrench to small, go one bigger. No more of this 7/16, 1/2, 5/8, then you get hit with 7/32? WTF? So Canada has that going for it! I remember my grade school teacher's explaining that within five years America will go metric. That was 50+ years ago.

Before replacing my old angle drive, I never had yo mess with the belt. Now, it seems no matter what I do, the belt keeps drifting to the outside and makes noise. I'm about ready to beg someone in the Houston area who's aligned their belt to come help me as I'm getting beyond frustrated to the point that I'm considering robbing a bank to get a 4-wheel kit. Even more alarming, I'm even thinking about going to a dealer!=O

One thing I've noticed is that the pivot shaft sometimes wants to turn when I'm trying to torque the pivot shaft nut, an action that can change the belt positioning, so I've learned to either have someone secure the pivot shaft so it can't turn while torquing the pivot shat nut or contort myself so I can place a foot on the socket wrench on the pivot shaft while reaching around/over the tire to torque the pivot shaft nut.

You're not alone. Yes, you are correct the pivot shaft can turn when placing the final torque on the nut. For me it didn't happen at all times, but at times it did, I used an extension bar to hold while I torque the nut. The final torque on the nut will also change the belt position. This worked for me. I loosened the nut and rotated the rear wheel to see how it tracked and adjusted to position as suggested not touching either flange but slightly favoring inboard. Then I torqued the nut to 195 ft lbs. After torquing the nut, it always changed the belt track, so once I got it in the ballpark, I marked the pivot shaft at the 12 o'clock position with a silver marker and rechecked after torquing the nut. I would recheck after final torque and if necessary, loosen the nut and readjust the pivot shaft 1/4 turn at a time (counterclockwise to move the belt outboard or clockwise the move inboard) Then torque again and recheck and adjust 1/4 turn as necessary till it settled into a true track with the final torque on the nut.

It's not you it's a narrow range that shifts with torque. One important thing I noticed (it drove me nuts) is that the flanges on the rear sprocket have a chamfered edge and it will appear as though the belt is not riding on the edge when in fact it is. The belt needs to be off the edges so as to expose teeth on both sides. It's a bear!
