I remember when all broadcasting stations would sign off at midnight with "And now this concludes our broadcastanding day". They would display F16's flying over the grand canyon while playing the national anthem.

I realize things are different now and the world operates 24/7 but wouldn't it be great if they still broadcasted something like that every day at midnight. Something that proclaimed the greatness of our country. It would go along way in uniting the country!

I just shed a tear. This is what America was.

When I was much much younger one of our local TV stations would sign off at the end of their day every night at 1:00 am and before they went off the air they would show a beautiful video of images from across the country that was accompanied by that Ray Charles version of America - - - always loved it <3

These days it sometimes feels as if people have forgotten just how lucky we are to be able live in this most amazing place and call it our home

Mid 60's South Jersey. Nice day for a ride. I Decided to make breaded shrimp in the air fryer. Went out on a quest for horseradish used in the sauce. Luckily the first two stops were sold out. What the heck does a pandemic have to do with a horseradish sell-out? I got to do a roundabout and scored at the third stop. Used a mask today and disinfected the hands six times at three stops but all considered it was a good day!

    Shrimp was good!

I've been binge watching MotorTrend TV all day and I think I've seen a TV ad for everything Polaris makes, except the Slingshot. Is there another ad campaign somewhere that I'm not aware of or is Polaris simply relying on the occasional glimpse of a Slingshot to catch the eye of a would-be buyer? I don't know, I'm not in the marketing business, but that can't be the way you would boost sales of a struggling product, IMHO... 🤔

Every time I go out for a ride I still have people approach telling me "that thing is awesome"!

    What is it?

think the World Health Org. Isn’t in China’s pocket?

look which country has been omitted from this chart.....I’m thinking conspiracy....but...

click on it to see the entire chart and fine print..

My guess is the blue line for China wouldn’t fit on the page....

I would think China would fall under Developed Each Asia? Although I believe the World Trade Organization still considers China an underdeveloped nation and gives it a special status?

    What a joke!

I'll second that. SlingLow racks are great quality, very sturdy and they look good! I've experienced no issues refueling. The design allows bungie cords to be used at any location to fit multiple shapes of cargo.

    Interesting.

Yep, I got distracted by a pretty girl. Left the cap sitting on the sling as I drove off. Had that funny feeling. Pulled over and checked. Sure enough I drove off without reinstalling the cap. Doubled back and luckily it was in the middle of the highway with no damage!

Great tip with Amold cap. I'm going to purchase and put In the storage compartment,

Social distancing is tough, wasn't sure what beer went with Thursday. Dunkel is a good Thursday beer.

Never heard of Dunkel but with that deck and the view Dunkel is a great choice, enjoy!

Time will tell and it will be a short time. I think the older generations have been hardened with the ability to focus on a direction to achieve an outcome. In the computer age its different.
