I'd suggest the Welter rear sidekick or stealth exhaust and leave the full baffles (some take them out or cut them shorter for louder exhausts). I wanted mine quieter as well, so left the full baffles in. I also have an exhaust dump on mine though, which is pretty loud, but I control that with the throttle, so when she is in with me, I just take it easy and it's nice and quiet.

That's Troy's with Trakhamr's personal sling.
The slingshot gets a lot of attention, put a quad in the middle of a bunch of slings and it will garner a lot more attention.

Paddle shifters are good for the track where you need to keep both hands on the wheel.

Way too far in the future to know for sure, but if it fits in my summer schedule, I'll come over for it.
Keep us updated on it please.

As a side note if I ever did get one of these kits I would absolutely want / need to get some rear fenders on there, from what I have read those rear wheels can throw water in undesirable directions - - the fenders that Kev at all things slingshot is working on look very interesting and would be an additional advantage for going with the Plus1 kit for me
Water goes out at about a 45 degree angle out the back, nice rooster tails when driving. I don't get any more wet in the rain with 4 than I did with 3. Seems most of my wet comes from the front wheels when I turn left. I still have the stock fenders on the front, which everyone knows that they don't block that much water off of you.

We have our first batch of 4 wheel kits coming in soon, we are installing one on our 2020 Slingshot and will then be able to complete the big brake kit for the back of the 4 wheel kit. It might even be offered in green
Can't wait to see what you have come up with.
I already have green brakes all the way around, what else do you have for me? -
This week we have another project that Corey our new tech is working on finishing.
This Slingshot had our Supercharger on it, but he wants really big power, so out with the old engine, new engine going in with big brakes and suspension upgrades along with some power upgrades we will show later
Your work order on the windshield gives away your power upgrades, some of it's a bit fuzzy, so can you focus the camera a bit on the paperwork?

When I did my quad, we had two choices, Bullet and Trakhamr. Trakhamr had just had a sale that made it more affordable. I don't think you could go wrong between Trakhamr or the DFK. Any of them can be customized how you want it, just have to ask. Personally, Troy at Trakhamr is a pleasure to work with, his service/support before and after the sale are top notch.
I've customized mine with a big brake kit using WIlwood to match my DDM front big brake kit setup, Troy helped immensely with this, I think I was his first Wilwood setup.
I'm sure Dave@DDMWorks is working on his version of a big brake kit, but I haven't seen him mention it yet.

Bought a few things from DDMworks, as well as a Haltech 1500, they have 25% off of the base ECU, not including the wiring harness, will grab that later.

When did EJ take his sling to Australia?

Yeah, I couldn't pass up that deal. I was all set for a SC, but when I looked at the cost of the SC (even with your deal) plus exhaust, it just didn't make sense to go SC over the turbo. So instead, I spent some (not all) of the money difference on other pretties.
And where did I miss the Stage 1 to 2 conversion kit?
I don't think they have a conversion kit on the site, but I'm sure if you talked to Dave, he could work up something for you. It's a different turbo, and I think it has a different oil inlet setup and maybe different plugs, other than that, it should all be the same setup.

The turbo has to spool up and won't kick in until about 2800 rpms anyway, so you're safe off the line. The turbo also prefers higher rpms once it's engaged, so forget you even have a 5th gear. Otherwise. you'll do what I did and start backfiring and not know why, lol.
Thats where you need the Stage 2 turbo from DDM, the damn thing spins up faster than any other turbo I've messed with, feels almost instant.

when is the wrench day scheduled?

LOL, Angie@DDMWorks is 2nd in the list, we gotta fix that, we all know she is our #1

angie@WP can you custom powdercoat the sway bars yet?

As others have stated, I don't think I regret any purchases, it was a learning and growth event.
Madstatd windshield, it worked well with the adjustments, I just didn't care for how it looked, so I swapped it.
Blackhawk 5.0 brake pads, while they did work better than stock, I still felt like it wasn't stopping me how I wanted, even with upgraded rotors, so big brake kit did the trick for me.I started off with a CAI and sold it later after getting the turbo, again, learning experience.
I've spent way too much money on exhaust things and I love how it ended, but If I had known that I was going to go turbo and quad at the beginning, I could have saved some money.

I didn't grab a pic, but from Ruidosa it was nice as well, from our house, Sierra Blanca peak had a nice sky behind it for the sunset.

It's always like Christmas when you get a box in like that.
It's not big enough for a turbo though!
