Got my three ordered cant wait to see what you have done!
-
Ill take three one for each Sling in my family!
-
I have averaged about 28 miles per gall so 9x28 =250 miles.
AS far as running 91 all the time I try to but a lot of stations in this state don't carry it.
I spend most of my time on back roads and when I need gas I have to take what I can get!
May have to be more proactive and start looking for fuel when I get to half a tank. -
Well my plan was to get all things needed to install my Supercharger together and install it over Thanksgiving.
Pulled the Slingshot in and pulled the hood so to be ready to start a couple of weeks before the DDM kit arrived.
Had underglow and wheel lights to install while waiting and wife is down for a while and cant ride so I thought why not.
So now I thought would be a great time to read up on the install. Frist thing I see is to make sure I run two tanks of 91 octane before I install the Supercharger.
Well crap!! So got in touch with DDM and asked if it was a must to do that and was told yes. That I could still install the kit
but leave the belt off until I have ran the two tanks of 91 fuel through it.
Going to be hard to have to wait to feel what the difference is while I run 500 miles to empty two tanks of gas.
So what lesson have I learned from this, don't wait until your ready to install something before you read the install sheets. -
It couldn't be some way for then to make more money off of us after the first year could it ????

I'm running the Toyo Proxies front and back! 245/30ZR20 90YRD 295/25ZR22 97YRD
Fronts are wearing very well and the back on dry road I have to work to make it slip. -
Well after they move there production over seas you can bet I have bought my last one!
They will soon find out that made in the USA has been a big part of there sales.
Be back to quality like we had when AMF owned them. -
Bought my dad a Kubota RTV 900 with the Diesel engine in 2007.
We have replaced tires and one wheel during that time but only replaced the battery once in January of this year.
That's about 11 years for one battery but didn't think buying another one from Kubota at there price, would get me the same service.
My first replacement battery in my Slingshot was the optima yellow top that lasted about 11 months and gave up.
Guess what I'm saying is its a crap shoot you can spend the money on the Optima battery or half that price on other brands either way it might not start when your ready to ride. -

Well Crap!
Ordered my DDM Supercharger from Slingmods Friday be my luck by the time it gets here I cant get a tune! -
Has anybody heard what the final count was on Slingshots in ES?
This was my first rally and didn't know what to expect.
Had a good time even with the rain. -
I bought the Optima charger when I replaced my battery.
Think it was around 100.00 dollars which was high but so was the yellow top battery. -
Oh been doing that since July of 2016.
All I want to do now is SC and Brakes.
Keeping the other half in the dark is getting harder
every day. So ill keep the rest of my mods under the hood. -
Yes We are going to the Ozarks this year. Going to be are first rally since we got are Slingshot.
Going to retire at the end of next year and hope to make a lot of the events after that! -
Thanks for the shout.
Saturday when I was going home from work after noon there were about 20 Slingshots
At an quick trip in Moore Oklahoma. So I thought there must be a group site somewhere! -
Have you got a list of sites for Slingshot owners in Oklahoma?
Trying to find a site where people post to get together and ride.
We have three Slings in my shop mine and two of my kids.
