Got 2 questions to see if anyone has ideas on:

    1. Have a 2016 with old Alpha cold air intake, 1320 header, and FabFactory Trio Exhaust. Have been running exhaust with no baffle since I got in 2016. Old Harley rider and love the noise. Having issues with exhaust and can't find anything that seem close to Trio. Closest is a Demon Speed R1. Anybody used Demon Speed exhaust? Checked with Dave and they don't have a "loud" exhaust. Any recommendations?

    2. Left house other day in sling. Clutch felt really weird. Catching right at bottom of pedal. Shifting felt weird too (trans). Turned around and drove home. Clutch reservoir was completely out of fluid. Last changed and filled was right before MV. Never had to fill reservoir since purchase. Not wet under reservoir or on hose below. Should have checked sooner, I guess.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Ferguson Supply, Fines Creek, is the only place I have found "Rattler" t-shirts. Sometimes they are hit or miss in having anything that looks good. They are the farm store where you turn to head on the main part of the "Rattler". They sell hardware and farm supplies, gas, and have a grill. Usually, a group of local sitting out front shooting the bull. Only way I would run the "Rattler" hard is for someone to be ahead of me clearing the road.

Welcome, not to far down the road from you. Live just off the 417 exit on I-40, Dandridge/Jefferson City, TN. First exit from I-81 S.

If you come this way to ride sometime, give me a shout on conversation mode. 123hotdog lives in Bristol. Good guy. Comes this way some to ride twisties.

Traffic Update for those coming to Maggie Valley by way of I-40 TN into NC.

NC Dept of Transportation has torn down the Harmon Den (Exit 7, NC) bridge and is completely rebuilding it. The right lane is closed at the 5 Mile marker as you come into NC from TN on I-40. You must use the exit ramp at Harmon Den (Exit 7) and immediately cross over to the up ramp on the other side. One lane continues for several miles. Not sure how traffic will be at time of SSITS. We rode over there today and only had to slow down to 30/35 mph, moving, with little traffic. Have heard on 30/45 min. delays and longer. (Knoxville to Asheville)

Frankie55, that is the battery I looked at on Fri. Was there to purchase a camera battery. Didn't know they even had car/motorcycle batteries. Have a 10% off coupon on next purchase (from buying camera battery) plus there is an additional $10.00 mail in rebate.

I have a 2016 SS (base) with the original motorcycle battery. It is still cranking but due to age I plan to change before riding season gets going. Has anyone used a Duracell motorcycle battery or know anything about them. My Interstate dealer nor Yuasa dealer have any motorcycle batteries right now. They have been back ordered since before December. My SS dealer is over an hour away but does have a battery in stock (orig. equip.). Thanks for any info.

This thread has brought up allot of old memories of my younger years and the fun I have had on two wheels and now three. I wish I could remember the year and series of all the rides I have owned. I started with a go cart and then got an Allstate Moped for Christmas when I was 11 or 12. Yes mine had pedals too, but you hoped you never had to actually pedal the thing very far. Graduated to Cushman Eagle then Super Eagle. Then local hardware store started selling motorcyles and I got my first real motorcycle, a 125 Ducati. Never heard of a Ducati till them but boy did I love to ride it. Neighbor let me keep his Zundapp Super Saber for a couple months after they moved until he could come and get. This is a recount, as I can remember, of my pre driver license years of riding. I have never lost my love to ride and have had numerous motorcycles over the years till I purchased my slingshot. I will be 73 in January and hope I can continue to ride for a long time to come. Thanks for starting this thread and the memories.
