I have just done mine with solid long nose pliers and a standard caliper piston pusher.
What I did is screw the piston with the plier 2-3 turns, then use the caliper tool to compress the piston in. When the piston gives resistance, stop, take the tool off, use the pliers and turn the pistons 3-4 turns again, remove pliers, push piston in again. Repeat until piston is pushed enough for pads to fit.
Took me total 25 minutes to do including figuring out how to do it. As long as you don't force the piston in you are ok.
This is so so so right. The long needle nose pliers worked perfect.

We'll look tomorrow after work and get some. Thanks for all your efforts and hard work.

Great times this week.

Couldn't have had more fun. Wonderful people and wonderful rides. Had an absolute blast. It was over way to quick. I think I am quickly becoming irresponsible. There is one on here that knows exactly what I mean. Great riding, great sites, great people.

Well let us just say where did I not go. About 20 gallons of gas for the day around Maggie Valley
Thanks a ton FunCycle. Had an absolute blast riding today.

Mitch. You did it again!!!!!! The man diagnosed the whining in a matter of minutes. Allot of people say the red ones are fast. They might be but the lime squeeze ones won't run right without a bath. Washed the belt and it runs like new. Thanks Mitch. Another one saved by Macaws.

Made it in. Let the fun begin.

I too have seen less bikes on the road but the majority of bikes I do see in my area are Harleys. When you look on Craigslist for used bikes, the Harleys on there are endless. It's like 3 to 1 over other brands. I think people have bought Harley's in the past as a status symbol and not to ride (not all people but some) I was one of those people. For Harley to close a plant in KC to layoff 800 and expand in another state just to hire 450 more there; sounds more like moving and consolidating than closing. I hate to see any company in this country close. Back to the original post, I can't believe how few bikes there are on the road here and I live in some of the best riding in this country or the world for that matter.

Gas was so cheap, I had to stop.

On my way. One more day of work.

Absolutely a great week. My first Maggie Valley. Waited a year for this. Heading out Wednesday morning.

I got bad gas once and it kicked the O2 codes. Seafoam and the codes cleared and it ran fine. I realize seafoam is not your remedy but my codes cleared on their own and that was nine months ago.

Welcome.

As for info on 2020 Slingshots, my dealer told me about two weeks ago that the were changing the hood.

Friendship motorsports in Bristol Va. These guys have did every recall while I waited. That's right while I waited. I do call ahead of time and ask them when the best day and time to bring it is. I know the lead tech by name (he may not know mine but I sure know his). They sold me a tire cheaper than I could buy one anywhere else.

Glad your okay. Thanks for raising awareness.

I chickened out last year due to the weather. I took swim lessons over the winter and we are coming for sure now.
