I may give it a shot. Maybe wearing Soccer shin guards until they break in will help.
Calf-high socks help.

if you search tires, you will find lots of good info.
Many fans of Nitto 555 series, Achiles, & others.
I'm running a Cooper Zeon RS3-S on my rear and I've had good luck with it.

It'll be close.
Thanks for the heads up.

Now I got... the green dot!?
Notice that some poster's icons have a green dot on 'em. Doesn't seem to correlate to people who are on line...
Anyone know what's up with this?

Sheree202 The fun is only beginning!
Many happy miles, exciting rides, and new friends await you!

Did my oil change today... about 20 minutes.
Decided not to get one of these. I have tool enough and room enough that I don't think I need it.
...and no nipple caps required!

I purchased a SickSpeed horn on Amazon, haven't installed it yet...

I had someone take the cover off, but nothing else; that was in San Antonio. I think the standard shift and 3rd pedal scared them off.
I've never had anyone disturb Ruby around here (Fayetteville area). University parking lots, Walmart, restaurants. Nothing. (Knocks on wood)
I have good insurance, but I sure don't want to use it!

I've had good luck with grabber tools like these, even when working in blind spots.

What are the chances of the Haltech dash being ready when I come up at the end of March?

they do sell little rubber/plastic caps that you can put over the nipple to keep it clean - I have one on my valve
Hee-hee.... rubber / plastic nipple caps.
Do you have to order them in several different sizes, or do you get an assortment like when you buy rubber ear nubs for your bluetooth headset?
Okay.... my humor is at a low point now!

When the bottom fell out I lost very little in my 401 and recovered that in like three years after everything turned around. I know some that lost 50% and have never recovered. At this time what I pull out each year, I call my play money and without it I could not do what I do now. Hey! I am just an old mill hand that could only contribute to the 401 for around 10 years before forced retirement. I am hoping that I have a few more years before I become house bound.
We had money for my son's college fund invested with Ameriprise (AMEX market funds). That lost a bit over 50%, never recovered. I figure we could have put dollar bills in a shoebox in the closet and he would have had about the same $$$ for college.

SlingLow I checked on this... It's not the price so much... but they don't have the 315 wide rims I want!

All presidents do good and bad. Some do more good than bad and others do more bad than good. Much of the good and bad is a matter of opinion.
Gonna have to say "Nope!" to that one. Much of the good and bad that presidents do is reflected in the economy.... like Carter's economic malaise and Reagan's recovery. Yes, Bush II must take his share of the blame for the depression of 2008 (his administration allowed the wildness in the banking industry and stock market that contributed to it), and Mr. Obama gets full credit for his 8-year non-recovery. The current Democrat claim that Trump's recovery was Obama's doing is absolutely laughable.
Trump's economy? You didn't build that, Mr. Obama!

Yep! 17 F here in the Ozarks this morning. The grass is crunchy, sparkling with frost. Roads are dry, but summer tires on the Slingshot get reeeely squirrely in the cold weather!

This is the 2020 Mars Rover - I think it's official model name is "Bad Ass".
Okay wheel makers - I want a set of wheels to match THESE! Totally awesome deep dish design, futuristic flare and style that would go perfectly with my Slingshot.
Let's be about it!

Another interesting car tech article. Hyundai/Kia are developing Interconnected Shift Technology, the ability for the car to a) sense road surfaces, b) connect to traffic information networks (5G?) and gather info on traffic conditions ahead.
The car uses this to shift the transmission into the "appropriate" gear. Used with assistive brakes and lidar, this will bring us a car where the "driver" is really just a steerer. Can interconnected throttle technology be far behind?
I think this is very bad news. Not only does it erode the market for motorcycles and "real driver's vehicles" like the slingshot and other performance vehicles in the longer term, it means the manual transmission vehicle will die very quickly.
I can see my millennial students (especially Bernie supporters and iPhone users) being thrilled with this. I, on the other hand, see a tool that government can use to lock down populations, restrict travel, red flag driver laws, and more.
Does it matter if we surrender our freedom to a government, or to a corporation which can be "seized in emergency situations" by the government? I think not. Can you see a Jeff Bezos, Mike Bloomberg, or Elon Musk acting unilaterally "for the greater good"? I sure can... and it really frightens me.

I'm assuming the dash when mounted will move up & down with the steering column like the analog dash does now....
