Driving anytime of the day or night out here you have to watch out for the Woods Rats, [Deer] In the 48+ years iv'e lived out here i hit or had some hit me at least 10 times, And i can't even count how many near misses i've had.....Many a time i would slow down while they crossed in front , And then some Nimrod coming the other way even after i flashed my lights never even slowed down and smacked right into them.......

The few times i lost traction the nanny corrected it before i could even react, I haven't Hydro-Planed With the S/S so far....But i am always aware that it can jump up and bite me....Had that with other vehicles in the past...All part of the fun of driving in the rain.....

It's called inflation and it's been happening for some time now. Like when gas used to be 34.9 cents a gallon and now it's $3.349. Use you Google for other examples.

When gas was 35 cents a gal i was making 3 hundred a week.....Now that gas is 3.50 a gal, I get more then 3 hundred a week in food stamps alone....Everything is relative....:)

I heard from my Uncles sister who's son works for a screw manufacture who sells screws to a guy who owns a Slingshot, That in 2021 they will have the EPA Reclassify them as an Ultra Slow Moving Vehicle so they can add a fourth wheel and still be street legal......

I consider the few extra pennies for 93 octane an insurance payment. To keep my vehicles fueled with the best gas I can buy. Years ago we used 93 in Coleman lanterns and stoves. It was called white gas. It was clear like water, meaning it didn’t have any crap added.

Car manufacturers tell you using 87 octane won’t hurt your car and 93 is a waste of money. They want to sell cars. And you’ll fall for anything. Show of hands if you think they give a shit about your car after you drive away.

I had the same story happen to me with a used van I just purchased. The tank was low so I drove across the car lot to a gas Station and dumped in 29 gallons of cheap gas. I barely made it home. The van bucked and kick like a crazy bull. Now how do you get rid of 29 gallons of crap gas. Spent hundreds of dollars at the mechanic trying to figure out the problem. That was in1992. Only 93 octane since then from nation chain stations.

The only gasoline i used in camp stoves and lanterns back in the 50's and early 60's was from AMOCO gas stations.....Octane who knows, But it was the only Gasoline without lead.. AKA White Gas...

Hello all, I have seen , (beginning to wonder though), an ad somewhere online for a Powder Coated “filler plate” that goes above the radio? It mentioned to specify holes or no holes for a Windshield Brace and the auxiliary power wire.

Anyone out there ever see something like this, or am I dreaming?

    Thanks.

Are you thinking of the ; Windshield Mounting Bracket , From Slingmods.com.....?

I love it....probably won’t be buying another one....because I’m going to drive the wheels off this one....

Ive said that about every Bike and Trike I've owned since the 60's....But alas it never seemed to happen, Looks like the last one will be the next one i buy after the last one i bought?( .....

None......Following too closely for the road conditions ....

Pull the radio fuse....Second one from the bottom right side 25Amp.. And plug it right back in...

I don't really care that the price of gasoline is, When i need it i pony up and fill up, Besides if i can afford a over priced toy made up with a conglomerate of off the shelf parts from Polaris side by sides parts bin.. whats another dollar or two...;)

Add some dry gas too....you might have water in there..

Not for anything but if his gas has ethanol in it already by adding dry gas he will be putting more alcohol/ethanol to the mix....And thats not a good thing...
