I looked and thought the same thing. I ended up going with floor pods and head rest pods first. I HIGHLY recommend the headrest pods. If you're doing 4 speakers, start with those. Then worry about the side and center pods later.
I'll be there. Hopefully w lights repaired.

Dang! You're a rolling advertisement. Albeit a great one!
Looking at the pic in the trailer, do my eyes deceive or do you actually have a couple inches (he-heh) on both sides of the sling between the wheel wells? I've got an 8.5x24 trailer and I've only got about 1" on each side.
I am in Franklin, NC until 11/30. Then plans are to go to mytoy ‘s house not far from Allentown, PA for a while. From there probably to Arkansas to visit more Sling brothers. Sadly not much point returning home for quite a while - besides I’m really getting the hang of this homeless thing 😂😂
And you always have a room in Georgetown (Austin), Texas. Got 2 extra bedrooms just collecting dust.
I always read the GPS Time To Destination as Time To Beat.
(Had GPS up for the Three Twisted Sisters route I was doing. Beat it by over 20 mins . . .)
Marco needs a 4 seater for his birthday. Happy 21st MiM

Thanks for leading. That's the one ride I did do with the group.

By the way how many showed up?
JUST ASKING
I would say about 50. Not an official count. I did my own rides Thurs & Fri. The Sat Poker Run had about 15-20.

I don't know of any worn out (and we all know a few that are being abused), but I have heard of a couple being damaged, at least 1 due to owner trying a different rear cog that didn't match the belt.

Okay, so let me chime in. I was one of those guys that put money down in Oct 2014 and didn't get delivery until August 2015 (mostly due to Texas law delay, then Polaris playing catch up with demand). I paid heavily for the privilege of being #4 in Central Texas. And now that dealer does not sell many SS if at all.
Now that said, I'm on SS #3, well over $10k in mods, not including stereo and don't have a turbo (yet). The dealer I bought this one from sells 40+ SS/month AND Vanderhalls. Has support for the local riders, and is active in the community. I've taken mine back there twice for service - 120+ miles each way.
What I'm trying to say is original poster is correct about Polaris should be doing more, but the dealer also has a responsibility to get out there too. If the dealer decides they want to be successful in this market, they can be.

Did the local area today. James Avery factory (daughter got new ring), Stonehenge II, Ingram Dam (Google videos for why its special-no one there today), Hunt General Store, loop through Vanderpool and Medina, then Museum of Western Art.

Rode around the Kerville area yesterday and today. Did the Three Twisted Sisters yesterday (1 hr 23 mins for those that know) and local area today. Butterflies are TERRIBLE. Seriously, this was 2 hrs. And I cleaned the windshield 3x yesterday and twice today.

no rooms left at the holiday inn, so there web site says. did not realize how big of an event this was until I looked on thee site. I just figured it was a slingshot thing lol...
Trooper dangerdarrell Dave has cancelled his trip in, and I was really hoping to get his expertise on my setup before I ran the mile, so I'm cancelling as well and will try and hit up the spring event.
I've cancelled my room, but the event is still worth seeing, but I don't think there will be any slingshots there.
sorry guys, maybe the next time
Sorry to hear that. But you can still make Kerrville!

Here's the route I have planned for Friday - The Daytripper Tour.
Only 2 hrs of driving, but plan on stopping a lot so this will be 4-5 hrs, ending at the Pint and Plow Brewery for lunch between 1-2pm. Taking the long way back from The Hunt Store just to put some mileage on.
Yep, Born and Raised in Los Angeles suburbs. Got out when I was 35. Joke was when I went to buy a house (in Salem, OR) and the told me the price, I said "I'll take 2!".
And then I moved to Texas where houses are even cheaper!
Yep, confirmed it has something to do with the Mobile App.
rabtech ??
I have a write up with pics about it at Exhaust part 2 and Brakes
Let me know if you have more questions or want additional details.

Bump. I received an PM from member so I'm bringing this up to the top.
Bumping this back up to the top.
I just registered, but I will be camping at Kerrville-Schreiner State Park again, not at the Hotel.
And while I definitely do not want to take away from SSR or the event organization, I am going to head out a little later on both Thurs & Friday for my own rides. If anyone wants to join me, I'll be having breakfast both days at Cracker Barrel across the street and leaving after 9am or whenever I feel like it. Feel free to join me if you want. - but I'm not waiting around. I'm sure you'll find me inside or outside wearing some sort of SlingShot swag.
Saturday night, I will be around a campfire at the KSP, sites 321 & 322 (not river side). Bring a beer (or 3) and a chair for good times.
