Ram Mounts makes one that screws into the center support and then angles up and holds the camera just above the windshield. They run about $60. You could probably piece it together for a little less at http://www.gpscity.com Below is a link to where I have one of mine mounted. It's right on the flat part where the fin comes down between driver and passenger. While I like the view angle from here, I like the view better from our new mount but I know that won't work with your top.

I live in Wyoming and didn't hear this story, I guess I have to try it out.

slolane I THINK you may have been the one I passed down near Martin drag way on my way home from the track. You with a motorcycle that day. You should swing by the shop some time. Or we should meet up for a ride. I have yet to go on a ride with another slingshot in my 4 years of ownership. If you wanna swing by the shop sometime we are located at 2450 28th St SW, Wyoming MI 49519. 28th and Byron Center area. I'm near 28th and Buchannon but I keep my Sling at the shop as I only have a 1 stall garage and my driveway is too steep for the Slingshot to get up or down the driveway.

Damn those look good in there! We get shit out the door as fast as we can. If it is in stock there's no lead time and it goes out same day if possible. I'll get a poll up for those blanks.

If Kev has one in Maggie I will take a look at it.

I have the templates to make one - just never made the list of lings to do

    Thanks

I'll make sure to bring one to Maggie for you to check out. I do not think he has one on his shelf. If you think it will work for you, you can buy it from him there. I am pushing all sales at Maggie through him. I'm making money either way and he has been extremely supportive of ZZP from the beginning and successful at moving a lot of product for me so why not spread the green around?

OK kids I have a question regarding this mount. What has kept me from buying one from any of the available designs is that I have a Metricks rear fender that attaches to this bracket.

Does anyone know if this is comparable with the Metricks mounting bracket.

    Thanks in advance

Looking at it, you would need to pop a couple holes in my rear shock mount.

I just want to thank everyone who participated in the group buy. I filled the 10 spots and sold 18 mounts. Most of them even shipped out today. Those that didn't will go out tomorrow. For those that missed out or didn't have a use for it, I will definitely be doing other group buys. You guys bought the bulk of my inventory and I sold 6 other mounts to the general public. We are just getting into the "knick knack" world of the Slingshot and this was a successful venture for sure. I want to keep bringing you guys more useful items or even specialty items where if we can get 10ppl to commit with a down payment, like the blank plates for the roll hoops that have been talked about, we will bring those to life. I'll be posting a poll for that soon to gauge market desire. I consider myself still a very new vendor so thanks for taking a gamble on me and buying some product. The support is greatly appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your week fellas.

I have always liked having one point forward and one backwards, also with two mounts you can change point of view for more intricate videos.....

Since i already paid and it was before 4pm I expect to see them to arrive friday in time for saturday ride..... :00008040:

Crap I forgot that just because you use amazon pay it doesn't mean you get prime shipping! :00000450:

Yours in in cue for pulling and packing. Will likely go out today. I've already sent some tracking numbers out. I'm about to go get my kid from school and can send one later tonight or first thing in the morning.

only thing stopping me from jumping on this deal is the fact I don't have an action camera to use with it

Cameras are getting fairly affordable now. If you don't NEEEED to have the newest gopro look into the Garmin VIRB Ultra 30. ericastar76 turned me onto it and I love it. The editing software is pretty cool and easy to use. It can do overlays on the video of the track if you are on a track, keep track of laps, elevation, speed, lateral Gs, etc. I found a used one on eBay for $250. I think they are around $350 new? The GoPro Hero 5 Black is also in that same price range and a really nice camera as well. Just food for thought.

Neosolidus we were talking about the original mount. Rabtech had asked a question about a part of a pic in the original posting. I took photos explaining what he was looking at and somehow the front lip of my SS got in the pics and MIM commented on it. Someone had also posted about the old mount by RRR that became brittle and broke.

The mount is going to be $56 shipped to your door. The mount is discounted 20% bringing it down to $48 and shipping is $8 to the lower 48 states making the $56/mount. If you need/want more than 1 I can accommodate that as well. I few guys have purchased 2 mounts so one can mount facing the front of the SS and the other can face the rear of the SS. All I need from you if you are interested is PM me your fist and last name, email, telephone number, and shipping address and I will email you a link to an invoice for payment.

Im going to tell y'all the same thing my dad used to tell my brother and I right after he used a 64" long and 3" inch wide leather belt to beat the shit out of us for arguing over who was next to play with the old Atari video game.

"you both better be happy and have a smile on your face when I come back into this room or i am going to whip you ass again. Now turn that damn game off and dry those tears up and get you asses in bed and go to sleep."8)8):D:D

I LOVED playing Atari. My dad must have bought damn near every game ever made. We had 3-4 milk crates FULL of games. My mom was the one that handed out the beatings in our house. She ruled the place with a sickle and an iron hammer. You used to PRAY she would say wait till your father gets home. That was just the "I'm really disappointed in you speech" which, in hindsight, hurt just as bad as the frying pans and wooden spatulas that mom handed out corrective action plans with just in a different way.

This is a great idea. It's very original. One thing to note, Those wanting to do the side plates, the slot is not the same width the entire length like the top slot. The side slot starts at a certain width at the bottom and tapers down as you go towards the top.

    :00008172::00008172::00008172::00008172::00008172:

Yes, these can be mounted to either side..........P.S. I hate you. :00000024: but not really :00000436:

As for the 2 other things you circled in red, those are just the mounting holes for the roll bar. They just protrude far enough to make it into the picture to look like something they aren't. I've included a couple photos as reference. ;)

Ok so overnight, we are up to 7 people signed up. Some people are taking 2 and rabtech is taking 4. This puts me over the 10 I wanted to sell so here is what I will do. I will be sending out invoices to those that want them today and I will leave the group buy open for 3 more people to take advantage of this offer. So some do not want to make an account. Do me a solid and just PM me your first and last name, contact number, and shipping address and I will create the accounts on my end. I know it's a pain in the ass but we're a fairly large company and have to track revenue and inventory for the IRS. Help me help you.

    I have info for chavey2 Doc&Ruby  dangerdarrell

MACAWS can I use the same info that I had for uncorked?

Soluga and MiM can you guys please PM me the info above that I need and I will create your accounts and send you all links to an invoice that you can pay with paypal or a credit/debit card.

rabtech Please send me the info as well and I'll get all of these out today.

I want to thank you all for ordering and the support. It is greatly appreciated and I'm looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can in Maggie.
