I like the ZZP high voltage coil packs you got.

I would like to add a sub woofer under the seat of my 2018 SLR LE. I am looking at the ROCKVILLE 10in 800w all In one system. Does anyone know what I need to make this compatible with my ride command? and if someone makes a plug and play harness?
I would get in touch with Scott Riley at Sport Rider in Wisconsin. 715.834.0244 or find him on FB. He used a self contained under the seat powered sub by Cerwin Vega under each seat and it is hands down one of the best sounding audio setups I have heard in a Slingshot to date. I know he is fine with giving out the info on the parts he used. I know he had to shim the seat up a bit for it to fit but I do not think if it was much from what I remember. It also still had a comfortable seating position.

The standard AEM boost gauge does not data long but the Fail safe does and has it built right in.

Welcome to the family! There's a TON of great people on here and a TON of great info. Make sure to check out the DIY section. You'll get all kinds of ideas.

We’ve never used the Zeitronix wide band but we have used their ethanol % gauges in a few of our builds. They work well, have been very accurate, and seem to be built well. If you’re looking to try something new I definitely wouldn’t say Stay away from them.
I’ve had a AEM fail safe in my SS for 3 years with zero issues. The data logging feature has been really helpful with tuning and diagnosing. The failsafe feature is pretty cool also if you are running 9psi or more.

The check engine light flutters when this happens.
If your CEL is flashing that means a misfire. That could happen from improperly gapped plugs, one of the injectors not fully seated, or low octane fuel. What Funinthesun stated about the open circuit is also correct. If it is running rich at WOT, you may want to either get on a dyno for tuning or send the PCM back to the manufacturer to adjust the tune.

Sometimes I forget how spoiled and lucky I am to have this at my disposal. "If you can't find the right tools in this garage, you don't belong near a car."

Javarow I'm not sure but I hear this place is the way to go https://zzperformance.com/coll…tune-for-the-na-slingshot It's out of stock but I have 1 PCM left if you are interested. PM me if you would like to order it.

Welcome to the family Wingman ! There's a great group of people here always willing to help with questions and issues. If you haven't already, check out the DIY section. There is a TON of great info in there. Growing up my dad had a Valkyrie. He bought it new in when they were released in 96. He used to let me ride it and I remember the first time I threw a leg over, it felt so massive compared to the CBR900RR I was riding at the time but man once it got going, what an impressive bike. That is still one of my favorite bikes he's owned over the years.

Ok all I can say is WOW the 1320 header and 1320 exhaust and quad pipes installed and has it made a hugh difference in the power at the rear wheel !!!!!
Please just take this as an informative post. I'm not trying to bash in any way and you would have gotten the same results with any companies parts.....Including mine. You probably gained some throttle response and maybe 3whp. I bet it sounds a hell of a lot better though. I did a big write up on NA builds with dyno sheets on here earlier this year. I did it mainly because of the amount of misinformation out there on the amount of gains these aftermarket parts are providing and because nobody had done it and nobody really knew. You have companies like 1320 that claim 18hp gains just from installing their header and this simply is not true nor even close to being possible. We have been modding and tuning these engines since their release in 2006 and the results on NA builds are always extremely similar. If you have any interest in reading the testing you can find it here The Truth About Natural Power - A Look At What Makes Power and How Much Really the most important thing is that you're happy with your purchase and you enjoy the shit out of riding your Slingshot. Ride safe.

The video is very well put together Mark and it looks like it was a great event. Congratulations on a successful event.

I had a similar experience with them. They were super easy to deal with and I had a replacement the next day. Aside from not having found a tire I like better, the customer support and ease of filing a claim is what keeps me buying MTs. That, and I'm hoping someday they'll realize how many tires I go through each season and start sending me free tires once in a while.

Made it back home safely and had a great trip. Kyle D and his partner in crime Al were busy all day but found time to take me on a plant tour and also to take my sling for a drive hooked up to their computer and tweak the settings some. Runs awesome 😎 anyways the Canadian butter tarts were quickly consumed and thinking EjFord was coming I brought him a package of them but Kyle's cute assistant ended up getting them since I definitely don't need them added to my waist line Now off to a evening concert. Busy day
Thanks for making the long haul over and thank you for the butter tarts. Those were pretty awesome. The team inside made short order of them. Thank god we do not have those here. I'd never be able to fit into my seat!

thank you very much - by chance do you know the length, in pictures I have seen it looks like the Trak Hammer hangs further back, but it could just be the angle of the pictures
That info I do not have.

For boosted applications we typically gap the plugs to .035 Dave may have a better recommendation for his SC kit.
-
Edward Neal The Bullet kit is 8" narrower than the front. The Trak Hamr is 2" narrower.

I applaud all the work everybody did to complete this project, but my question is how are my going to do this project in 5-6 hours when it took 3-4 guys with a shop environment 3 days to complete ? Is this more complicated than I think ? I really want this but since I am only 100 miles from Trakhamr how much more does it cost to have Troy install this kit ?
Randy,
if you decide to pull the trigger on it, we are happy to install it here at ZZPerformance for you. We are about 4hrs south west of you in Grand Rapids MI.
