Yep I think I would need the “Balanced look” myself! OCD would kick in:(

There is no set time that we do a particular amount off. We are currently doing everything in our powers to keep the current price of $975 due to increases in material cost.

One lift uses a 60lbs. Dual uses 2 30lbs struts. Both function the same but some people like a balanced look.

    Thanks for replying!

Sling mods has the PRP seats for $950 not on sale. Wait for a sale and get a better deal. They are suspension seats and I have them in both of my slings. Wife hated the stock 15 seats and at Maggie one we sat in 3 or 4 different seats other than stock. You sit in them and not on them. Do your back a favor and sit in a pair before wasting more money.

I would like to sit in several different ones before buying, but haven’t seen but one other sling in my area, and they had stock seats! Don’t really want to wait all summer till I see another sling with seats, but may have too☹️ The comfort stitch by Polaris sure look soft?

It's amazing what a quick google will do. I assumed these came in a million colors which is why I asked for pics. Those are good looking seats.

So far I’ve only seen one color! Black!! I’m thinking of ordering these, but would really like to sit in a set before doing so! My back does not like the lumbar support on the 17-18 sl seats! I believe my 16 seats are more comfortable than 18s I bought! May have to go with the PRPs??

wjfyfe , no seats with stitching will be completely waterproof unless the seems are sealed. It's usually noticeable when someone has used a sealer on the stitching. They are water resistant.

BTW, if anyone is interested, my wife is removing her almost new quilted seats and installing Velocity seats. Paid $850 from Polaris. Make reasonable offer and I can deliver to Maggie Valley.

Why is she changing to basically the same seat? Little less pad I think on Velocity?

    Thanks.

I’ve got PRP seats in my ‘15. Very comfortable for both my wife and I. We’ve done several hard all day rides in them without major issues.

Wish you could make either MV or Huntsville. Be glad to let you test ‘em.

Thank you Sir for the offer to plop down in your seats😂 I rode Harley’s all my life, now I’m just really starting with the Slingshot! Wanted to buy a trailer, so I could make The rallies etc.... but not sure my ole back is going to cooperate☹️ I’ve still got tons of Harley stuff I need to sell, so I can put that money into my new toy👍😀 I might not be able to go far, but I still have a few miles left I hope!!

The Comfort seats feel good and sit a bit higher that the 2015. We put the comfort seats in @Summer Breeze's Sling but he has not put any long rides with them yet. Also the 2015 stock seats were not comfortable to him and he drives a Walmart 18 wheeler during the week.

I think the seat issue is going to be very subjective, in that I know everyone is different! My issue is after 7 back surgeries, it’s tough enough to ride any length of time, but I’m sure there is a way to make the seats comfortable enough that I can get some flying time without hurting as bad! Heck, I had 5 seats for my Harley😳😂

Definitely sit in some other people's SS and try out different seats. My base 19 seats are decently comfortable and after sitting in a few other SS at an event, I've found out that they are superior to a lot of the older seats from the 15-16 years, even after market ones.

They are too expensive to just buy and hope they are good.

In mean time, I'd suggest an inexpensive seat cover to help out until you find the seat for you.

I agree! Been looking for seat pads at Walmart, amazon etc.... wish I could make Maggie, as I’m sure there are plenty of seats there I could try! So the search continue😪

Trying to decide on seats this week. I’ve looked at these as first choice! However, I just bought and installed a set of 18 SL OEM seats, and the lumbar support is killing my lower back! I’ve read other post where the lumbar was too much on bad backs! Does the Comfort stitch seats have the same amount of lumbar as OEM 17 up seats? Not wanting to have a custom set built, but can’t stand the push on lower back! Was hoping to sit in them before ordering, but haven’t seen any around!

Really nice! What type of lights are the ones on the lower air wing? I would like to just have fog lights on my 2016! Also what does the OEM blue plug hanging behind lower panel go to? Fog lights maybe. Did Polaris make an OEM foglight for that plug? Thanks.

Why are you deleting the cat delete? Fumes?

If your speaking of the front exit exhaust with the tailpipe hanging just below the muffler, my answer is no, it doesn’t hit? I don’t know how, as I’ve driven over bumps, and humps expecting it to drag off! But not a scrap so far😳 The tip is angled, and appears to be touching the ground, but hasn’t! It’s the 1320 V2.

Orangeman I would say the bar is a good 2 inches out of its usual spot? Thanks for that video, as it gives a good visual on what it should do!

So now I’m not sure if the bar just worked itself out that far,or it was from the curb even though it’s not connected to anything that would have moved without showing some kind of serious damage:/ You saying earlier versions of the sling had the stops?

I can do that, as I still have old tires, but I had to change the shock bracket too! Not hard, but kind of a pain! Probably wouldn’t have much effect to just leave bracket, and change wheels?

Just a suggestion, put the old wheels back on to avoid damaging the new tires. After the fix and alignment put the new ones back on. Wheel size won't effect your alignment.
