We are working on putting a bigger and better group ride programme than ever before.
Firstly we have 8 Ride leaders 6 of which are locals.There will be a total of 21 group rides over Wed/Thurs/Fri.Saturday morning will be the Poker Run for all.Friday 5pm will be the World Record attempt parade with a great party after band,dancing etc.
Apart from the usual well known rides Tail of the Dragon,Rattler,Waterfalls etc these guys know fabulous rides which are relatively unknown and will be taking riders to these.
Secondly ride durations will vary from 2 hrs to 5hours.
Thirdly rides will go out 8am and 12pm Midday.
It is a huge amount of work putting these rides together especially so many.It will however be complete by the end Feb.Published then so folk can make their selection and prereserve.
SSITS is going to be bigger and better than ever.
Many preregistrations in already.
400 Slingshots Expected might possibly even get 500.

I and two others from my area (New England) are desperately trying to find transport for all 3 Slingshots down to Maggie Valley and back home. So far nothing. None of us have enough vacation time to spend 5 days on the road plus the amount of time for the rally. We all want an entire week there not just for the rally but to see the Blue Ridge and explore Asheville.
We realize it's tough to find someone willing to do a round trip for 3 Slings. Doesn't look like it's going to happen

@ulflyer.I think I remember the guy.He worked for Alpha who at the time they were handling the JRI shocks.Unfortunately Alpha are not in business anymore.

The Quality Inn has 17 rooms left $99.00 per nt discount rate.Same owner as the Comfort Inn and totally refurbished last year.Also fairly close to the Fairgrounds.

ivor any vendors going to be there doing Laser Alignments this year?
I am trying to get one to do them.Alamo Cycle Plex the dealer from San Antonio is a vendor.i am contacting him to see if its possible.

At the moment all is in planning stages.Ride leaders are being setup bands, music being booked,vendors&food vendors signing up.
The world record attempt will definitely be Fri afternoon followed by a party time at the stage with a live band and dance floor.
Ofcourse many other events,Meet&Greets etc.
We will have the full event schedule out end Feb/Early March so folk can start signing up for rides.We at Slingshot Roadsters are really excited.Hopefully weather is in our favor this year like 2 years ago.

You had a good inkling.Announced on Facebook this afternoon Twist Dynamics acquired Welter Exhausts.Jeff Welter and his team are moving to Florida where Jeff will manage and design all Twist and Welter products.Should be coming out with awesome stuff.

I would have to trailer mine! Anyone know if there will be overnight trailer parking available somewhere near? Maybe one of the hotels has a place for them? Would hate to lose my trailer😳
FNo Problem.We are all geared up for trailers.At the Fairgrounds we have 2 big safe parking areas for trailers.This is the best place although you may park at our hotels as well.

You are totally incorrect in your remarks.
You seem to have a lot of unfounded opinions when it comes down to our events.
Slingshot Roadsters is owned by Composite Exchange a company owned By Scott MacIndoe who also owns Slingshot Only.Each Company is run seperately.
Slingshot Roadsters was sold by myself to Scott MacIndoe with the agreement I stay on and I run Slingshot Roadsters.
Our policy for both Roadsters and Sling-A-Rama shows is ANY LEGITIMATE SLINGSHOT VENDOR who wants to participate in any event we do is more than welcome to participate in one or all of our events.
Slingmods a direct competitor of Slingshot Only are always invited to any event we do.They have shown at a few and when they are not there it is their decision.I would dearly love them to attend every event.
We have made Sling-A-Rama vendor events very low cost for the vendor.We would encourage all who wish to show signup.

Safe bet that anyone in direct competition with SlingshotOnly will not be permitted to vend. Just guessing.

SLING-A—RAMA are Vendor 2/3 days vendor shows in some major American cities promoted by Slingshotroadsters.
We have contracted great discounted rates in hotels where the events will be held.
Vendors will be setup in the parking lot where great deals and installs will take place.
Registration is $20.00 pp which includes a free teeshirt.All profits from the registration fees will go to our charity The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

The 5th annual SSITS will take once again the week after Memorial Day weekend.
All fees will be held for 2019 and will be exactly the same as 2018.
We will also be making a further attempt to break our own world record of 209 Slingshots in a Conga Line and Guiness World Book of Records 251 Polaris Motorcycles.
