If anyone has the Polaris trailering cover and is going to be in Maggie Valley next month, I sure would like to see if it fits my slingshot with the Fab Factory top. Polaris says no, and the local dealer didn't want to open a box to let me try it on. Too much work for them to make a sale I guess ;(;(;(. Hate to spend almost $500 and find out that it doesn't fit. Same request here. If it does fit and anyone has one they want to sell (after EJ gets his). I'd be a buyer

Fun the trailering cover will NOT fit with a TOP on the Slingshot. I have a F4 5+ windshield and extended mirrors and that stretches thing more than they should be stretched.

LOL man if you can find one let me know!!!!! I'll go in also!!!! We need to find a company that will sponsor a Slingshot burnout contest and just deliver a semi trailer full of tires. I've been trying to get Micky Thompson to give me tires for a couple years. I'm not sure why but apparently, Slingshot 1/2 mile racing and rolling burnouts aren't high on their list for support. LOL

    Might try.... https://shop.hoosiertire.com

Sometimes I take the Keys out of the Slingshot and put them in my pocket.

Please don't tell the 'bad guys' there is a key hanging under the hood in case I loose

    mine on a trip.

Several months back Polaris sent out some stuff about local clubs forming up in conjunction with dealers. Has anyone gotten involved with this. I am looking for any opportunity to ride in groups here in central TX. The local dealers were not interested and I guess Polaris had a marketing problem (as usual), I am still trying to get local dealers interested but no luck. Any thoughts?

James good to see you over here. Enjoyed our time in Kerrville.

they will be here on Thursday and we will take a ride on Saturday and see how things go

I use a sheep skin...had it for my Gold Wing --- How about the sheep skin on the seat and the beads on the sheep skin?

You should ask for a cut of the commission :)

If I got a commission --- I wouldn't need to swing a paint brush for gas.... Took a man for a ride in Kerrville and he was at the dealership two days later.

That's a really good deal! I might decide to bite the bullet & purchase a Slingshot. I do like them a lot. I've visited dealerships & have 2nd thoughts when I sit in one. The salesman usually laugh & say you don't look too comfortable. I'm keeping hope alive!

Have you gotten in the seat and driven down the road 50 miles to see what it is like? I just got home from Kerrville, TX rally. I live in La Porte, IN 60 miles from downtown Chicago. Come out for the evening or a little time on the weekend and I'll put you in the seat of my stock 2016 driving down the county back roads for an hour or so and then we'll have a little coffee. If you get in and drive one for a bit you'll have one. One friend here is 6'6" and size 15 shoe and has no problem with his Slingshot.

I had a similar style on my original seats for the first year and they worked good. Got rid of swamp ass. Rather comfy too, no complaints about them. They did wear the seat some and when removed you could tell they were on the seat. The colour was worn from the plastic some where the beads made contact

gooseman hope all is going well after surgery...
