I have to keep it simple. This wisdom is from FunCycle .
He was the 'mastermind' behind some parts that I had made for the fenders we have. I took his design and gave it to a talented metal worker who did a super job.

To elaborate on BryanL 's response, if you want to smoke your back tire, turn off traction control (short push), if you want to live in a rainstorm, turn off both (long push).
Thanks for the clarification.
It also allows a lot of heat to stay in the cockpit. I rode about one week with the +6 that was on Sling II last summer. It was like riding in an OVEN
Different parts of the country we need to set up our rides differently...
Absolutely. I am prob doing the double bubble adjustable one or the Nascar tallboy. Not sure yet.
Up in the Frozen North I have the F4 5+ and love it, but need to add Baker 'Air Wings' to really make it work. Keep cold out and to bring cool in. I would look real strong and the double bubble ... Did you ride in Harvey Slingshot when you were together?
The F4 5+ and the Nascar are very similar and block a lot of air so you will need a way to bring some in.
Got Georgia out for some Sunday lunch and about an hour ride....just fresh air no neat scenery.
Mirror performed flawlessly for over 300 miles today. I did hear the wind coming around it but I currently have a stock windshield.
Are you going to change windshields?
Silly Ed. That was before CGI. They staged the moon landing in a Hollywood studio. Surprised you didn't know that.
My Uncle Hadley Ford was the #2 man at JPL in CA and was in charge of making sure that everything was in the right place in the Hollywood studio. JPL is where all the planning was done for all the Space activity.
other note says you fixed it...
Thank you very much . Found the problem. I was mistaken the clutch for the brake pedal for the last 2 days . I went moved it and realized that I was pumping the clutch pedal instead of the break . I think I need a vacation . Thanks for your reply
I do HOPE that YOU realize that YOU are the only ONE who has made such a silly mistake here. Welcome to the 'World of Slingshot Insanity'. Lots of great people here that are will to help with any problem you might come across. And some of us who just like to ride and have fun.
Georgia wanted to go for DQ after a little dinner than she realized it was only 63°...no DQ tonight.
We might find our way up there. Not sure. I am only 110 miles south.
My problem is that I own a business and have to turn in Timesheets on Monday and make payroll on Tues. As long as I have good internet, I can do this from a hotel. Is there a rally point set up?
Also, I have my 500 service check Thursday. I'm at 460 miles O.D. Don't want to overrun the 500 too much. Not too familiar with Polaris but Harley looks for any reason to void their warranty.
I had the "500" miles service done on my 2016 Slingshot --- little over on the miles. Bought on a Wed in Lake Villa, IL drove home to La Porte, IN and Thu headed to a Rally in Eureka Springs, AR. The Dealer who was going to be at the rally was prewarned that I would need a 500 mile check up.... Got it done on Sat am with 1,200+ miles. NO problems. Ride safe and enjoy.
Sooooo you have AC in the garage where you keep the sling??
( play room )
Do you have AC in your 'Man Cave"?
This is a vacation to get out of the house, not a race. I will follow who ever wants to lead.
You just know every road that is fun to ride. So lets follow FunCycle
still up in air. Looking at epic adventure in early September but still not sure.are you coming to kerrville again?
Probably Bristol, TN ... with everything up in the air not sure about anything.
Boomer are you going to try to make it to Maggie Valley in Aug?
Gold Wings or Slingshot ... every time I wouldn't start and NEW battery solved the problem. Batteries Plus has an OEM style battery on the shelf for about $130.00.
Probably the cheapest thing to change.
I never plan on starting a ride in the rain, but if your going to do a lot of miles sometimes it's going to get wet. Pig tail was very wet, the Blue Ridge Parkway was
far wetter no place to pull off and water rushing down and across the roadway. I did somehow manage to get everyone back to Maggie Valley with rubber down and plastic up and wet.
When I was taking flying lessons --- any 'landing' you can walk away from was a 'good landing'. I keep a 3/4 helmet with the flip down face shield just for the riding in the rain. Hope the next try is better.
Teresa and I are booked at the Comfort Inn Tuesday through Sat. Really looking forward to the rides and meeting new slingers and seeing a few old farts like EJ and Boomer again.

This is NOT the week for SSITS....which will be in Aug. This is just a 'call' for those who want to ride to come out and join FunCycle for a ride in the Smokes'
