I have a buddy who's parents came here from Greece 35 years ago his mom first and then his dad followed. They sacrificed and worked hard earned citizenship and started two very successful businesses. I've heard there story. They love this country so much and it shows when they talk about how lucky they are to have what they have. You should see there restaurant its all done up in red white and blue i was there today. I feel sometimes us non immigrants which let's face it all our ancestry came from somewhere else at some point. But I feel like the idea of memorial day and veterans day gets lost to some. And we take for granted what we have and what was sacrificed in the past to make this country what is is today. If you need to see what I mean just talk to them. Today is red white and blue at the resturant and on veterans day all vets eat for free. Mytoy good for you where are you from originally if you don't mind me asking. Happy memorial day everyone.

Got brand new nitto 555 all the way around because a semi dumped a milk crate full of random tools and supplies in front of me. Busted the cars headlight to the left of me also busted the car headlight in front of me who was behind the semi. And then knocked a young kid off his sport bike in the left hand lane up about 30 feet in front of me. He was swearving to avoid all the crap. I took a screw driver up through rear tread and out the side wall. Luckily there was a discount tire about a mile up the road. It was meant to be. Had only the rear in stock that's all I needed to get home. Ordered the fronts got a week later. The semi never stopped probley didn't even realize it happened.

Won best of show at a car show last weekend. Didn't want to enter but my niece and nnephew were some of the ones setting up the show. I was entered in the bike group of course. I didn't win best bike which I was glad I don't really consider it a bike. There were a lot of sharp cars and bikes. My 7 year old wanted a trophy so bad. When they were announcing winners I took him to the other side of the lot just in case we won. I really didn't want to make a production out of it. Well after all the awards I thought I was safe. And then it happens best of show. In the motorcycle class number 2. But you better believe it he heard it and goes flying across the parking lot yelling that's us dad we won we won. You could hear a pin drop when I walked across to get it. There were quite a lot of head shaking pissed off people. He grabbed it and was so happy. I got so many questions while I was there throughout the day on why its considered a bike and it should be a car. I've been to a couple car shows with it. I usually get a little of every reaction from people. I went to a all bike show once and it became clear real fast I was not wanted. I parked walked around for like 5 minuted and left. The tension in the air was bad. Not one person Came over to check out the SS. I've had one person pull up next to me and yell some mean stuff all I could do was wave and smile and said I guess you won't be wanting a ride then. Different strokes for different folks.

I stop by my local dealer about once a week. Look at new stuff I want shoot the shit with the sales guys etc etc. But I will go in the service side and just ask and they'll look up my vin and then look in there files for NY updates or team tips. No hand shakes or secret words. I remember 1 week my hood pads weren't under warranty for the new hood bumpers but later that week my sales men called me and said now they were and come down and have them installed it only takes like 10 minutes.

I changed mine to RP at 250 miles and then flushed and filled with RP at 500. It was cleaner each time. My rear drive has quieted a ton. But I think with time they all do. I have 4000 miles on mine. Getting ready to change rear drive again.

No running stock tires. But I don't think it matters. The design of the SS and the weight are always going to make it susceptible to hydroplaning. There are a couple people on here that have spun out in the rain. I will not drive in the rain in my SS if I don't have to.

got it up to 135 in 4th. 5th you hit the rev wall. I've asked my service guy at my dealer about this. He said that you can go into the ecu and turn the rev limiter off. But he won't do it.

I like the harnesses. But 2 things they limit your movement to look around. And in everyday driving and traffic that can be a pain. Also in accidents involving harnesses compared to regular seatbelts the are pros and cons. I'm talking in everyday driving not on a race track. Oh yea and 3rd if you have little ones ride shotgun harnesses really won't work because of the size.

Over the years of my many girlfriend's one thing was always a constant complaint. Can you guess what it was? Anyone anyone. Yep you need to grow up. Luckily for me I met my wife who yes is all business. But loves me because we balance each other out. She needs my lack of let's say seriousness and irresponsibility. I will never grow up and that's how I am. I got the peter pan complex real bad. And even worse I married Wendy. Not my wife's real name but you get the reference. Life's to short have fun and be safe.

Ive hydroplaned doing 30. Slowed down in a rain storm. Was going fine then boom sideways in the grass. I don't think it helps that the front tires direct water towards the middle at the back tire. And all the oil and crap sits in the middle of the lane.
