OK I knew I wasn't losing my mind. At first I thought it was from the rear. Then in the garage just rolling it, it was the front. Test drive today it's definitely front AND rear, but more often in the front. It's ALWAYS in the front when I am turning, but the same kind of click comes from the back when I go into my driveway which is a bump then immediately has an incline.

I'm thinking, what's in the back as well as the front? My air ride bags? I just had all the hoses replaced since the air ride blew recently, but the clicking has been going on since before that.

Dealer this morning is not sure exactly what is making the noise but noticed the sway bar supports are totally bent. That damage might have happened (not sure) when my air ride blew a few weeks ago and I had no choice but to move the slingshot bottomed out to get it out of the road.

So as long as those supports need to be replaced, I might as well upgrade to the DDM sway bar and bushings and have the dealership put it all in. But I'm not confident that's going to change the clicking noise but I guess one thing at a time.

I'm about to bring my iPad into the garage and review all the above responses and check everything suggested.

I'm noticing a clicking noise in the front when turning side to side, or when pushing my foot hard against the front tires. Been going on for a while. Turn left, there is a click on the right. Turn right, there is a click on the left. Possible sway bar issues?

I have a noticeable clicking sound coming from the front. Turn the steering wheel right, the ticking sound is on the left. Turn the steering wheel left, the ticking sound is on the right. It’s like a tick-tick-tick then stops until I turn a different way.

In the garage today, I could hear it when just starting to roll back. Put it back into park, got out, and pushed hard on the front wheels with my foot. CLICK.

Any ideas? Dealership says to bring it down so they can hear it tomorrow. But it would help if I had some possible insight to give to them.

    Thanks as always!

My friend's Twist Dynamics wing has developed a maddening squeak. Not side-to-side but up and down. Left brackets.

Since I have one too and just know the same thing will happen to me, any suggestions?

    Thanks as always

Ouch. The Sony you are referencing is an automotive radio and you'll probably have the same problem. Perhaps a marine unit since it serves a similar (open cockpit vehicle) to the SS would perform better combined with that big sun shade of yours.

Actually this is one of the most used after-market radios on Harleys. I'm sure since motorcycle riders use it, it must have a screen that can be seen as they have told me. Since it is made for motorcyle applications, it also has weather resistant buttons.

Anyone have the Sony XAV-AX7000 head unit in their slingshot?

I currently have a Kenwood DNX---- and the brightness is pumped all the way up and it 100% washes out in the sun, and the little sunshade doesn't help. It's also in no way water resistant. I hear the Sony is much better in both areas as it's generally made for Harleys.

No, the factory seatbelts are made to go around the seat/over the shoulder. Braum makes a specific protector for the seat just for that. The holes at the tops of the seats are designed for harnesses.

But I see the seatbelts going through the right hole in the Braums. So what's the scoop?

It's all good. I got the dash on and the radio installed. Thanks!

Here is another picture that was posted and it defiantly goes behind.

I've had people today actually take their panel off and send me pictures and theirs is in front (but did they ever take their dash off and then put it on that way?). I'm going with Rabtech and these pictures and putting it behind. not tonight I've had enough for today I'll end up in the looney bin over this stuff!
