    How fast are these?

    I was told 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds and top speed of 130 mph. It is pretty quick and a joy to drive. Reminds me of the MG Midget that was around when I was much younger. I don`t miss the whine of the right angle drive or the belt of the rear drive on the Slingshot as the Vanderhall has front wheel drive. The automatic transmission isn`t bad either and put it in manual and shift with the bump shifter. Not everyones choice of ride but happens to be mine.

    Haven`t seen you in a while, hope you`re doing well. I was there at the demo rides the same day you were and after owning two Slingshots, a 2015 and then a 2016.5 Slingshot I traded for the Vanderhall and have never looked back.

    Here ya go;

    Right now it`s still an issue. After dealer resets the check engine light it may last a day and after another reset it may go 300 miles till it comes back on. Polaris is shipping a new ECU for the dealer to install. I`m hoping this will take care of the problem.

    Just curious- is your back up camera on the recall? It has been known to cause all sorts of unrelated havoc.

    All of the recalls have been done. The service manager says it`s the cold air intake that`s causing the problem but in the 12 months it`s been on there, I`ve never had a problem. When I first start it up in the mornings it will not idle correctly, shuts off and when I restart I have to give it a little gas and it will smooth out and run fine the rest of the day. ECU or fuel rail problem maybe ? I don`t think the service manger knows any more than I do.

    I have a 2016.5 SS with a Alpha Cold Air Intake that I installed 12 months ago and until about two weeks ago have had no problem with it. I started getting a "Check Engine" light about two weeks ago and a O 655564 code and the dealer has replaced the 02 sensor twice and the light will go off for a short time and come back on until he replaces the sensor again then I have the same problem all over again. He thinks it`s the Alpha intake causing the engine to run to lean. I`m no mechanic and don`t understand why it hasn`t been a problem in the last 12 months and now it is. He says things change, anyone have any insight on what`s going on?

    Yep get the Harbor Freight low profile jack. It has a feature where it will jack up fast till it comes in contact with the load.

    If you subscribe to their sale paper you can find them about 1/2 price. Go sign up for their email they send out with deals and i bet you can find one.

    Thanks rabtech, that`s the one I will get.

    Get the one with the large lifting pad. Let me know when you will be at Coastal and I will bring you a pair of the small jack stands (brand new Craftsman 3 ton). Also be careful the tube frame will bend easily, I am using a short piece of 2x4 to keep the raised edges on the jack pad from bending the frame. I am looking for the plastic pad that fits over the jack pad, I will have to by the 6 inch. Also Harbor has the jack stand pads.

    Thanks FunCycle for the offer but I have jackstands but not the floor jack but at least now I know which one to get.
