Thank y'all so much for the birthday wishes! I was sitting on the couch last night with my wife watching TV, remembered I wished my sister happy birthday, she is 2 years one day older, it hit me mine was tomorrow, said to my wife... "I"ll be 59 tomorrow", she said... "that's the high", I said... "yeah, it's the highest I've ever been". She give me a strange look, then started laughing and said... "I thought you were talking about the weather".

Had a very nice day y'all... thanks again!

Wife and I (as well as many others) had the honor and privilege this weekend to participate in the SavannahStrong Memorial Ride for Awareness, great ride for a great cause. This year’s ride included a couple laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Only have a couple pics, Rho was mostly taking video. I heard we had 97 Slingshots show up. At IMS ours was the first group out, first lap was basically a parade lap, we were told speed limit would be 30 mph and signed waiver $10,000 fine to pass the pace car. By the end of the first lap we were testing the waters on what we could do. On 2nd lap pace car may have picked up the pace a little, we fell back and had some fun with Bu11sh1t and few other Slings. I never looked at my speedometer, Harvey and others were saying they hit 90-95. Looking forward to next year’s ride.

Nice meeting up with ya'll 123hotdog. Thanks for taking us to Friendship Motorsports and all. Going to look into this and see if we can make it happen, sounds like it's gonna be a GREAT time!

We really, really liked the roads out that way, our time was limited, but was able to hit the "Snake", Roan Mountain (TN-143/NC-261), Diamondback (226 &226A), Devils Whip (NC-80), ran out of time and missed out on "Back of the Dragon" and I hear US-321 along the south side of Watauga Lake, is a nice ride. Like FunCycle said... just hit about any road that isn't a dead end and enjoy!

Wanted to give a great big THANK YOU to Ruptured Duck and Tina for taking the time out of your busy schedules to overnight us brackets. Your kindness and generosity was/is very much appreciated!

While on vacation I broke a bracket to my MS Sport Top (no fault of the bracket). With the help of Goats_Hogs we rigged it up to get us to our next destination. The next day brackets were delivered to our motel in Robbinsville, NC and we were able to get ‘er fixed up. Brent and I both now have spares. The vendors in our SS community are simply the BEST! Thanks Again Patrick and Tina... y'all Rock!!!

Echo many of the same sentiments posted... had a great time! Had some of the best vendors in the SS community there! Chose to take a long ride on Friday and missed out on a lot back at Polaris, may have done that different. Was great visiting and meeting folks in the evening back at the DoubleTree! Certainly had a family reunion type atmosphere. Greatly appreciate all the hard work the SOG folks put into making this happen, looking forward to the next one! Oh sure there was a bump or two here and there, it was the first event, that's gonna happen... all in all for an inaugural event I thought SOG hit it out of the park! Thanks for the ride Trent!

Very nice! For some reason I thought covered bridges were only in New England. Learning something new every day 😊

Thanks @ SoCal... we are very fortunate to still have 7 covered bridges left in our county, we have one that was built in 2012, so we actually have 8 total, you can drive thru six of them We also have 3 more covered bridges just across our county line, one in Oxford, Ohio (Butler County) and 2 in Germantown (Montgomery County), can't drive thru any of these though.

Our Roberts Bridge in Preble County is Ohio’s oldest covered bridge and the only double barrel/dual wagon-way bridge in the state. It’s the oldest of the six remaining double barrel covered bridges in the United States and 2nd oldest covered bridge of any type in the nation. Hueston Woods bridge although only 7 years old, is a real gem, it's one of the newest covered bridges in the country.
