Just downloaded the app this is great, now I don't have to wait to get to my computer to keep up with the NSFW thread...

Do they do any other colors or is Black & Clear it?
-
I like that idea of using the buckle as a template for the slit, great idea.

I've purchased from both places with exceptional results and service. If one is higher, maybe they will price match? Can always ask.
I have met Noel and the crew when out at SSITR 2015 and were a great bunch. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.If they won't/can't price match, maybe they will tell you why their product is higher. I've purchased from both and they both offer quality products.

Great job, hope mine come out that level.....if I can make myself cut the painted plastic.
-
Those look great, had a chance to ride with them on yet?

I don't drive as aggressively as some and I don't try to fishtail my way thru the twisties. I'm considering a set in case some idiot who is texting and driving runs me off the interstate. I see them as another type of insurance...untested yet in a Slingshot, but insurance just the same.

Dragon Fire 3 inch.
I was just looking at those, thanks.

Thanks for the review, do you have the 2" or 3"?
-
How did you judge where to cut the slot?
-
look what came in today...
.@Chubs, have you had a chance to 'try them on' yet? I'm still undecided to go with 2" or 3". I like the 3" but I'm not sure how they would be comfort wise.

I did alot of reading an snooping around about how to properly mount these types of harnesses and I'll be damned if I can't find a document that illustrated proper installation. What I do remember is that there should be no more than 10" from the top of the shoulders to the attach point so if I install where you have them @rabtech I should be ok. The other thing it mentioned is that the attachments should be angled in the direction of the pull. That is: if the shoulders are above the attachment point then the attachment needs to point up, not straight across. They had illustrations as well as explanations. I'll keep looking, but for what it's worth, I'm going with your install technique on the PRP harnesses I ordered. The misses really feels more comfortable with 4-pt instead of stock shoulder belt. I rode passenger recently and completely understood what she was referring to. For any of you that haven't ridden on the passenger side of your rides, try it once and let them do a few hard corners to the left. Without a steering wheel to hang on to I was like holy crap!... yeah, there's a small Jesus handle there, but eff that. I needed a little more security.
Did you order the 2 inch belt or the 3 inch? I like the PRP harness but we haven't decided if we want the large size or not.
-
If I remember correctly NO - you use the stock belt mounting points.
Great news, that's a welcome change. Thanks
-
Does the seat have to come out to connect the two lower belts?
-
-
Great, trying to figure out if that width would be uncomfortable or be back to digging in our necks like the stock belts do. Can't wait to hear how they are, thx
-
Has anyone gone with a 3" belt instead of the 2"? Just wondering if it's uncomfortable.

Don't know if there is enough interest but one about the Trailer Wiring Harness would be beneficial. The "stock" instructions were terrible.....just sayin

In case you haven't seen it @slingmods has one too. http://www.slingmods.com/elect…s-accessories/fuse-blocks it's more expensive but you have the option of having your accessory Hot all the time or just when the key is on. Works great for LED set-ups. I had the Blue Sea one until Slingmods came out with theirs.

I would be sweet if someone could figure out that adding an air foil or wing or even different tires could eliminate or reduce hydroplaning. With all the engineers, developers, and just plain smart people on this forum, I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with something already.
