Well, I'll post the whole thing later when we're in for the night, but we ran Chief Joseph and Beartooth this morning, currently eating lunch in Red Lodge before heading North to meet up with @SlingLow. That. Drive. Was. Epic! Put it on your bucket list!

Oh, and teaser.....we met another Slingshot! First one in 2200+ miles!

I love that ride. Done it several times on two wheels.

To check for balance pull the tire off and take it to a shop for balancing. But, if it is that far out of balance you should be able to feel it as you run down the road.

I got the one threatening me with prison if I don’t send them my credit card info. Told him to bring an army cause I’m gonna shoot em all. Silence....

I'll do my best to make the Oyster Run but from what I hear, lodging is difficult at best during this event. Coming out of SW WA I would need a place to lay my head that night. I'll go to work on it.

Welcome to the forum @Tlutz ! Good to see another Washingtonian on board. Keep an eye on this thread: Portland area Slingshot Owners for rides down south if you are able to come this way.

You can stay in Everett or Maryville. Perhaps even one of the Casinos.

Loved making the Oyster with my Kawasaki buds when we lived in Lake Stevens. Take a nice long my ride in the morning and end up in Anacordis.

    Loved riding NW Washington.

Just food for thought - would you work your job for 100 hrs just for a feel good moment ? :00008172:

For years I worked 60 to 70 hour weeks while being paid for 40. I was “management” yet had no authority to hire or fire nor to give direct direction to any workers. So...

This explains a lot of what goes on. Even though it’s about rvs. Dealers do a lot of stuff some of it should be illegal. Especially on the financial end.

Applies to RVs, Cars, boats, airplanes and motorcycles. Either used or new, how big a check do you need for me to drive/fly/rode away from your place? No smoke and mirrors, additional dealer mark up, no more BS. How much?

I figure if a 2975 Kawasaki Z1 could go 140,000 miles without failure and my old 1985 Mitsubishi pick up could go over 150,000, the Slingshot should be good for the rest of my life.

check out the one polaris sells as an accessory - I don't think many have done alarms

Can’t speak for ‘18s, I have a Scorpio installed in my ‘15. I’m considering removing it. Had the same system on my Wing. It was a PITA.

Its an interesting thing, but my wife seems very against a top. Asked her several times and every time she has said it is "stupid" and a "waste of money"

on the other hand when I told her I wanted to get the JRI coil overs she said "go for it" "it if makes it drive better you should get it"

When I was looking for a SS, a top was one of the top three requirements. I’ve been blistered too many times in my life. Tired of enriching my surgeon for removing cancers.
