The “adaptor” is a pigtail with a Polaris plug on one side and a plug for the reader. Don’t know if the setup would allow you to plug in and read with a different device.

Ordered the new code reader from DDM about two weeks ago. I arrived yesterday and I hooked it up just a few minutes ago. It read the current code!!! AND I was able to clear it with just a couple of button presses. Amazing!

I get sporadic codes for the knock sensor. To clear them takes a ride from Knoxville to my favorite dealer in Chattanooga to use the DigitalWench to clear it. So far, Crocket Powersports has gone out of their way to clear it and not charged me. But, now I can do it from the comfort of my carport.

Just saved me a day of pounding the concrete on I-75.

    Thanks!

Good to hear that you are doing well. Had my left knee done last November. No infections or complications for me. I started PT 4 days after surgery. Was able to drive the Sling at two months post op. Finished PT in early Feb. I’ve got about 125 to 130 degrees. That is as good as this 73 y/o body could get to. It is stiff and just a little tender at times. But, that is getting better with time and use.

I still can’t squat. But, I can handle the clutch as good as ever. I can get down onto the ground. It does take some effort to get back up.

Do your exercises and follow the directions of your PT monger. You’ll love to hate him/her. 😁. Don’t over do your exercises too much.

Get well. Looking forward to seeing you back in the saddle.

Covid shut down the one that we were doing and also Covid has kept us super busy here. We have chose to get more product out and help more people instead of going and playing on the 1/2 mile. Talking to a couple forum guys though and some people on Facebook about doing another track day at Roebling Road though this year, that is much more fun to me :)

Robeling Road? When? I need to do that!

Got my first bike, a Yamaha 60, in June ‘66. Rode it my Senior year then crashed it into the side of a neighbors car when she backed out of her driveway without looking. This was two days after graduation.

Got next bike, a Kawasaki 350 Triple, in ‘72. Stationed at Cannon AFB. Rode it all over New Mexico and West Texas for a year. Sole it when I got shipped out to Thailand, again. Picked up a 305 Dream while there.

A year or so later I picked up a Kawasaki 400 twin rode the crud out of it for about 6 months then traded up to a ‘75 Z1b off the showroom floor. Put about 100k on it in two years. Took it to Spokane when I got transferred and put another 75k on it up there. Finally sold it in ‘83 in Denver.

In ‘93 I purchased an older Yamaha Venture Royale while lining in Rancho Cucamonga. Had been married for about 5 years and Miss Nancy had never ridden with n a bike. We rode it all over SoCal and Arizona. Sold it in ‘04.

Moved to the Seattle area in ‘05. Bought an ‘00 Nomad on EBay located in Kentucky. Miss Nancy and I flew in and rode it home. Rode it all over Washington, Idaho and Montana. In ‘08 I couldn’t resist and bought a VN 2000 Lt. Sold the Nomad a year later.

Moved to Knoxville in ‘09, with the V2K. Rode it until ‘15 when I retired and picked up a nice ‘12 Goldwing.

My bad knee finally screamed at me in late 2017 that holding up a touring bike was no longer in its’ repertoire. After a serious search Tripod and I connected and Nancy and I flew out to El Paso and took possession of Nuc’em in April of ‘18.

Even after my knee replacement last November, we will still keep riding the Sling. Love it that much.

John hoping you have a speedy recovery.

Congratulations on the ride! Nuc’em is still sitting in the carport waiting for my knee to limber up enough to get into and out of her.

Thanks Guys. Surgery was Nov 8. Been doing PT three times a week since. Finally have 120+ degrees of motion. Pain is almost gone. Been off the heave meds for a couple of weeks now. Will be back in the saddle by the end of January. Looking forward to Maggie Valley.

Loaded the Slingshot and have it redy to head South first of next week. So I did ride it a few feet. It was dry and driveway was clean.

We took the Sling into town, Lenoir City, yesterday for the parade. No, we didn’t drive in the parade, we handed our cold water to the crowd. It’s a thing out church does every year.

After the festivities we rode out to Louden and had lunch at Taste ‘O Texas. Then took a nice three hour ride out across the valley to Kingston then home.

    Was a great day.

Just my 2 cents worth here on the Neto 555s. When I picked up my sling it had about 4500 miles and 555s. Ran with those until this spring when I changed all three to Perelli P-Zeros.

I found that the 555s held well enough to keep up with Gerald in September while running around Bristol. When hot, they grip very well. I find that they handle the corners at double the posted without feeling like I was close to the edge.

Haven’t had the Pirellis long enough to really test them.

When are all of us vaccinated people going to die? Magnets don’t stick to me. I see no evidence that I am being tracked/traced.

If vaccines are so bad, why has polio almost been eliminated? Why doesn’t mumps run rampant through our schools? Why haven’t we had a major Yellow Fever out brake since the late 1800s early 1900s?

Because we have vaccines for them.
