    @Bill Martin,
I know Angie isn't on the forum so please tell her or thoughts and prayers are with her. The pain in my heart is still fresh from losing my dad so I know exactly what she is going through. Please let us know if there is anything at all that we can do to help her through this time of loss. We love you guys. Kim and Kevin

    ^^^ Yeah I agree with @mniron
I'm sure new is better but I'm all about fixing something if possible without replacing it all together. After all until I just fessed up no one ever knew it happened.

Kinda reminds me of when Servpro did the clean up after the big fire at GE Appliance Park where I work. General Electric is notorious for slow paying their contractors so the big joke around the factory was "It's like it never happened." :whistling:

Sorry to hear this @KayTwo I did the same thing about a year ago but there wasn't a curb just one wheel off the pavement into a small ditch.
Note to self: never accelerate hard when entering a tight curve, under steer is a bitch. :00008862:
What I did was strapped it down in the trailer and used a cable come along to pull the spoiler support bar/tube frame back straight again. So now that part of the sling matches most of my mods (gently used) :00008356:
I was able to straighten it all out, with the exception of the skinned plastic, where you can't hardly tell it unless it's on a lift. Good luck bro and glad no one was hurt.

I just took delivery of a Nitto 555 G2 315/35R17 I ordered from DiscountTireDirect. It's just about the same dimensions as the factory 265/35R18 tire and will result in a speed of just under 66 mph at an indicated 65. The only potential drawback is that I plan on using an American Muscle 10th Anniversary Cobra 17 x 10.5" wheel that has a +28 offset. The different offset will place the right side of the tire in about 4 mm to the left of the original factory wheel and tire with the left side of the tire just under 30 mm to the left of the original tire/wheel edge.
Here's a couple of pic showing the Nitto 555 G2 315 next to my current Nankang NS20 275/35R18 and another pic showing the new Nitto tire behind the current tire to give an approximation of how the new tire should look when mounted.

I'll just have to see how it will handle with the wheel slightly off-center.

@BKL in order to center your new wheel,if my calculations are correct, you either need a .669" wheel spacer or you need to shave .669" off the inside mating surface of your wheel (if that can be done safely). At the risk of sounding like Bill Clinton it depends upon what your definition of left is. Is your new rear wheel off center to the driver's side or the passenger side ? From what you are saying your new wheel's offset is off by 17mm/.6695".

@KYJoe57 I realize it's a little out of your way but you know you and Krista are more than welcome to join us for lunch with the "Posse" at Hitching Post.

NOTE: I'd hate for your sling not to be included in that group pic with the bar in the background. :P:whistling:;)

Married 63 years!!! Just WOW!! Out of all his accomplishments that is the most amazing. Kinda makes me feel like myself and my bride of 32 years are just newlyweds. Kevin you certainly had a father to be proud of!!
Can't say about your brothers and sisters cause I never met them but I am quite sure they are fantastic folks he raised cause you are a stellar human being brother!!

Just saw this post. So very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and you.

The apple didn't fall far from the tree. I'm sure dad is proud of his son

Thanks guys I'll never be the man dad was or live long enough to do half the things he did but I know in my heart he was proud of me. You could tell by the way he smiled and shook his head in disbelief after some of the projects we have tackled together. Like replacing every termite infested floor joist in the dining area of the bar without even a minute of business downtime. Of course some of the customers at the time thought we were preparing pits for bikini mud wrestling. :00008172::00008356:

NOTE: I only posted the obituary so you could see my fathers lifetime accomplishments.
Please no donations, flowers or crazy last minute road trips to see a man you never met we will have plenty of time to toast to the sheriff in SSITS'17.
Thanks for being there for me this week you all are a very special family to Kim and I.

Obituary for James Donald Greene Sr.

James Donald Greene, Sr., 84, entered into eternal life Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Jim was born in Louisville to the late Joseph and Margaret Greene. He worked for General Electric prior to his enlistment in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his service to our country, he worked fulltime at General Electric while attending night school at Bellarmine University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business. He was the owner of Jim’s Place and the Hitching Post Inn. In 1982 he began a distinguished career with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, which led to his election to three terms as Jefferson County Sheriff. He was instrumental in working with legislators to pass the succession amendment, affording sheriffs statewide the opportunity to serve successive terms in office.

He was a dedicated member and former President of the Fraternal Order of Police – Lodge #25, former President of the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association, and Vice President of the National Sheriff’s Association. He was a member of Elks Club Lodge #8, and Knights of Columbus – River Road, and was a parishioner at St. Gabriel the Archangel. He was an avid U of K and Boston Red Sox fan, which was a wonderful compliment to his Irish heritage. Jim’s most treasured moments were times spent with his family as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Jo Ann Greene; children, James “Duke” Greene, Jr. (Cynthia), Terri Greene Fiechter (David), Kevin Patrick Greene (Kim Mello), Shannon Lee Greene, and Allison Greene Newman Amon (Chris); grandchildren, Shamus, Brian, Ross, Ashley, Travis, Trevor, Riley, Ashley, Michael, and Nick; 5 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bette Zeller and Nickie Schoenbachler (Dr. Elmer Schoenbachler).

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may take the form of donation to Mass of the Air. Online condolences may be shared at http://www.Ratterman.com.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks for the love and tender support provided by the doctors, nurses, and staff at Baptist East and their Palliative Care Unit.
