I am trying to get a couple of friends from the area that have Slings to go down to Maggie Valley in May.........We're ready but not sure about them I have been in contact through Facebook with a few others from around Pa that are going so maybe we can hook up with some of them for the trip down........-7 here today and the ground is white...........READY FOR SPRING...........As far as red well............I like to maintain a low profile...............hard to do with red
Made motel reservations yesterday for Maggie Valley vacation approved for my wife and I now all we need is a dog sitter and I would imagine our little guys Grammy Thelma from down the street will be more then happy to do that..............Gotta love friends that are dog lovers....Come on spring !!!!!!!!

Hello PaulJ,
Honestly it's not where you stay but who you stay with So anywhere on the strip is good if you want to be close by. Some people stay a little further away, they want to be up higher on the mountain side for a nice view. Some people actually go camping with a tent, camper or log cabin. I have been going by myself and I do not really care so much about the room because I am just going to sleep there. The fun and excitement is at the Fairgrounds and going on group rides with your friends or the organized group rides. I would recommend for your first time to look at some of the group rides book say 2 or 3 rides and then figure out the rest with people you meet or on your own. When you go on an organized group ride it's more of a ride to a destination that might be half way or at the end of your ride. You will not be able to stop and take pictures on those rides. Smaller groups that are more personal might be nice to take where you can all map out places to stop and see the view and take pictures. Make sure you check out Slingshoroadsters to book the event and check out the information on the site. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask it here or somewhere else on the forums. Great group of people here and we are like a big family! Welcome aboard! Thanks for the reply and insight I already know one of my friends is not going to make the trip with us I need to track the other one down this week..........It would be great to get a group of us from PA to make the trip together

(Qualifier to the above statement: zero problems with the Slingshot; I personally have LOTS of problems & issues... )
Tripod driving the Sling makes mine all go away...........Well that and now that Christmas is over...........Me<--->FedEx driver

Its always been that way here in PA amber or white front....... amber to the sides and red facing rear although its not enforced very well...........My guess is if you get pulled over for something else and the cop feels like piling some more $$$$ on the ticket he'll get you for the lights

First of all wishing everyone a Happy New Years and hoping for many many safe miles Slinging this year.........My question is this......I bought a used 2016.5 Turbo Silver Sling Shot from a dealer this fall with about 4k miles and all recalls done bone stock no mods........We put about 2k miles on it before winter set in......I hear so much on these forums and other places about problems from bearings to angle drives to electronic glitches to bad dealers etc....... What I want to know is How many of us out there have NO problems ?????

Long weekend yeah right...........off tomorrow................work Friday night................off Saturday..............work Sunday early morning...........Did I mention I hate the holidays...............20+ years FedEx tractor trailer driver Ho Ho Ho my butt

I broke a steering wheel puller that I got from them and it was immediately replaced. I decided a part I bought wouldn't work for what I wanted and a return was immediately authorized. They back up their sales with top-notch customer service. It doesn't stop when they get your money like some other companies.
Whatcha gettin'?
Looking at the rear windshield or wind restrictor they call it..............thinking etched with the American flag and lit in red
