you say jump - I say how high
Is there anyway we could add facial recognition to this photo and label everyone with name and forum name?

So very sorry for the unfortunate spill you had on your only ride in the mountains. I hope you get well soon FITS.
I did get the pleasure of meeting you at Jared and Heather's luncheon and hope to have time to ride with you in the near future.
If i ordered T shirts and never got them in MV, How do I go about having them shipped to me?
That looks like a new clutch disk to me.
Happy Birthday @Rob the Slob
I had my sling on jack stands and went under it with a hose
I went under mine with my 9mm, after being in the boonies, I wasn't takin any chances what might be still hanging around under there.
Yes he did, once on the entrance and once on the street in front of the fair grounds.
dont think anyone filmed either one.
whats that they say about pictures?
Damn, I'm sorry i missed it. I cant believe no one filmed it, or at least took pics. You know the sayin!
Was wondering if @rabtech got to do his burnout and if it got filmed?
Rear tire wet and lost it loading on trailer! Waiting for help. Hated those mudflaps anyway.
Sorry for your damages Anita. Hopefully someone has a spare around to send you.
Let's not forget the great stickers that @Ghost Ryder was handing out along with those beautiful Mugs.
Many thanks to the both of you @Ghost and @Ghost Ryder for all of your generosity.
Tim and Shirl are "Great Folks" and i'm proud to call them friends.
We are in....
Two rooms and a blow up Doll in the spare room with a king size mattress available.
I fixed it for you sir
I know we all complain about all the dust that collects inside the rear wheel but I witnessed something Saturday that was unbelievable.
@MWSlingshot, Sue (cause I can't remember her handle) @GhostRyder and myself had been riding for a few hours and for the last couple hours the roads seemed to be very dusty/dirty. As we pulled up to the a traffic light between Waynesville and MV he pulls up beside me. As he is coming to a stop I seen something coming from his real wheel. At first I thought it was smoke! Then as he was coming to a complete stop I was able to determine that it was actually dust literally pouring out of his wheel. I would loved to have had a camera on that as it was happening. I could not believe it even though I was seeing it with my own eyes. We went our separate ways and when I saw him later that evening I forgot to mention it. So @MWSlingshot when you go to clean that wheel and complain about all the dust in it just know that there was a lot more in there before it poured out. LOL
I saw this happen to @EjFord in Maggie Valley as well. I am hoping it is on one of the dash cam videos
Myself and @FunCycle were disscussing seeing this happen to painters rim also when we followed him. Had to do a second look when i seen it at first as i thought his brakes were smoking. With all the rain in the area its hard to belive the dust on the rims was that thick
Sue's handle is @frostedorange for those that can't remember, LOL
After i got home yesterday i was unloading my sling from my trailer and noticed even after hauling it 2.5 hours at 70 mph my rear wheel was covered with dust on the bottom. It's amazing that the rear end of the sling get no air flow across the rear wheel.
Those rims look even better in person!
Thank you sir!!
I only heard of one sling that "accidentally" went off the road and as the story went it was because of "distracted driving" and not a loss of control situation.
All that being said I did hear of three slings that went WAY off the road in the same incident and it took quite some time to get them back to the pavement again. They went off road so bad that they were brought back to the pavement miles apart. Some at the top of the mountain and some at the bottom. Word had it that there we "Bear Hunters" and "Moon Shiners" involved in this story. For more details one could probably contact @ericastar76 or @MWSlingshot.
The evening turned out to be a real conversation piece, that's for sure.
Luckily no "one" or no sling was damaged from the excursion.
After the initial round of judging they selected 3 slings to pull forward. The first was a vendor show car that has rarely seen the road, the second was Felicia's who Jim has heavily influenced, and Jim's. The final round was done by popular vote where Slingers were asked to stand by the one they thought should win....It was not even close, Jim's ride won! For 2nd place they again asked for the people to vote...another win for Jim, Felicia's took 2nd!
Hey @Ruptured Duck! Your top is now a show winner!!!!
Congrats to Jim, Felicia, and Patrick and Tina
We made it home safe and sound, not a very long trip for us.
We had a great time meeting everyone for the first time and see some friends we had had the pleasure of knowing prior to attending this event.
@KayTwo, @sideseatdriver, you two went above and beyond to host an epic event that was fantastic. Kudos to you both.
To all the great folks we had the pleasure of staying with @The Jonathan Creek inn
@Boomer, @dangerdarrell @ericastar76, @sideslinger @Nemesis1701, @Bubblehead,
Swee McGrath and all of the spouses, we say thank you for making us feel a part of this great family.
Ask Erica about it!!!
Let me guess... looked like a fair road at the start... then got gritty... then wheel ruts you had to navigate... and the killer...
Road signs stating... No parking except in designated areas.
Yep, got caught by that one SSitS 2017!
Not even close, no road signs for miles as we went 4 wheeling in the 3 wheeler
Heading out for a short ride to Cherokee and back with Two other slingers and end up going off-roading for Three hours because the NaVagator didn’t know where she was going.
Bear hunting in the woods in not my idea of a road trip!
