I had ordered a part from Slingmods and they took my money and they now have an issue that they didn't charge me enough for shipping. They say it is in the terms of service. They did post on their website that they were looking for more money for shipping which I didn't see until today but then about 30 minutes later they sent me an email that I did see and said the part would be shipped as soon as my visa cleared. My visa was charged with a shipping charge. First he gave me a lot of attitude in his email. Then when I told him that I have sent in an alternative mailing address for free US shipping he keeps asking me for more money. I also told him he should throw me a free t shirt but he didn't acknowledge this.

I hope this Will S. isn't in management or we have a big problem. If someone can give me the name and number of someone in management as this is probably my first and last order.

I was just talking to @Canoehead and he wants to do a run to Ucluelet Sound this summer. We haven't figured out when. I am sure we could make a run to Victoria for some "T" and crumpets. I really like the drive on Hwy 14 my wife and I did a 2 years ago.
We aren't are lucky as the people in Lotus land as we have lots of snow on the road and more coming today and Saturday.
Just ordered a few mods as I have to try and keep up with @Canoeheads slow black one. I should have them installed and hopefully by the middle of April we may have some clear roads so I can take the SS in for factory recalls.(I can't wait for the seat-belt reminder since I won't have an OEM seat-belt).

Like when the hell did you just drink ONE cup of coffee, EJ?!?! :00008172:

Its pretty bad when you just start a new air conditioning company and @Tripod undercuts you. Due to the intense competition Canadian air conditioning is off the market. Now when you cross the border you will experience extreme heat and myself and my fellow Canadians can blame @Tripod for this

lol.... send me your heating unit.... I'll give a real test up here, lol

Canadian Air Conditioner is now available for the next 2 weeks then we will be sold out until December cost is 12 pack of Bud. Hurry don't miss out on this great deal. Installation is very fast and will be available once you cross the border.

I don't know if I will make it this year but this morning I was working on a few trips and this was one file. I didn't include the Drumheller Dinosaur Museum with a visit to Wayne. The transportation Museum in
Wetaskiwin is a really good place to spend a day. I have never been to the Rimbey Truck museum but it was on a bikers road map. It would be a great way to spend a day even before or after the Slingfest.

Glad to see you got one @slingshoter1 . I have very little issues with mine other then them sinking into the ground and can't open the doors. The trick is to make sure they are level right to left so the doors open easily. If the one end opposite of the door is slightly higher than any excess moisture will drain out if it doesn't sink into the wood floor. Just don't pile a few tons of pipe and a bobcat on top, it does hold up very well.

I think if we could do a ride that ends up at Sundre for Slingfest I think it would be great. Whether it starts at the end of another event in the US/Canada with a long ride back home in Alberta or starts from Sundre and goes to places unknown.

Hi @rnj12 there is a fitting but a normal grease gun cannot reach it.
On the dark side there was a video of how to do this from a couple of years ago. You can by a 6" needle fitting to go on your grease gun that you can put against the zerk fitting and pump grease into it. I bought the needle fitting but it seems like a 3 handed job.

I only want to know how to get the whining sound out of the passengers seat :whistling::whistling:

I am trying to connect my Samsung phone to my bluetooth on the SS. I says it is there but it doesn't play my music. Any ideas? I was told to hook it up to media but that is the same as me building a rocket and going to the moon. Step by baby step would be helpful. My old iphone worked great but now I have to listen to the crappy radio and the poor reception.
