So after reading this post from start to finish I still have the same question. Does this modification help with exhaust fumes? I am using Welters Side kick presently. I have it turned up at the end about 15 degrees(to look cool). Due to an early snowfall I have only put 50 miles on it and I was still smelling the new metal smell in the cockpit. I have the next 5 months to figure this out but the D-mod does look cool. Any comments would helpful.

Don't really know the Twist people and only have heard what people say. It is usually negative because when customers are happy they just go about their business. When they are pissed they complain on the forum. I also see many people giving Welter the "high 5" because of their honest customer service. Hopefully this will continue with the integration into the new format. Congrats Jeff and wish you the best of luck in the future.

    Hi Chain

Thanks for inviting the forum for Christmas. I like silk sheets on my bed. The chocolate mint is optional but the bucket beside the bed is not. Just drinking my last beer before I leave work for the year. My wife Rose promised to cut me off if I come back in so I will be into work tomorrow to at least finish the beer in the fridge☺.

It looks like no snow here for Christmas we got it all in September.

Merry Christmas everyone hopefully next year we will find retirement and a lottery win preferably not in that order.

I put on the 1320 with quad tips and it helped with the heat but the noise and the fumes were always there. Changed it for a side kick but unfortunately it started to snow in September so I didn't take it out for a real work out. I may have burned off the new smell but it is slightly quieter but I am still getting fumes in the cockpit.

I have the exit exhaust turned up a bit as it looks cool but it maybe has to go parallel to the ground. I missed out on Jeff's 30 day free trial so it is the last exhaust for awhile.

I don't know if the quad tips fit on the 1320 muffler you have but if you want to try it out this muffler pipe let me know and you can pay shipping.

I am just looking for ski's on the front and a nice wide snowmobile track on the back. Happy winter. Imagine the fun you would have stuck up to your Ying Yang somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.

    HELLO WINTER

Yes sir about 6 inches of the white stuff fell last night and the good Lord is still giving us more this morning. The snow fell 1 month early as it usually snows on Halloween. It looks like 7 months of winter this year. Looking for someone to adopt us. No one from Alaska or any state with snow allowed. I can't say that we don't eat a lot or drink a lot. We are very high maintenance. You will not be able to get any extra labour out of us. In fact I can't think of any real redeeming qualities that would endear someone to adopt us.

    Dear Donald,
Please keep your fire smoke and illegal immigrants on your side of the border.

Who needs cigarettes when you can smoke Pine for free. High of 29 Celsius today.

Special air quality statement in effect for:

    • City of Calgary

Smoke is causing poor air quality and reducing visibility. Smoke is expected or occurring.

Thick smoke continues across regions of southern and central Alberta.

Visibilities will be reduced in smoke and AQHI values will reach very high values.

Smoke will likely dissipate as far south as the Capital Region this evening, while smoke will linger until Friday in southern parts of the province.
Individuals may experience symptoms such as increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath. Children, seniors, and those with cardiovascular or lung disease, such as asthma, are especially at risk.

Stay inside if you have breathing difficulties. Find an indoor place that's cool and ventilated. Using an air conditioner that cools and filters air may help. If you open the windows you may let in more polluted air. If your home isn't air-conditioned, consider going to a public place (library, shopping mall, recreation centre) that is air-conditioned.

I had trouble following what was written as it didn't make sense and had to reread it and figure out what they were trying to say. Could they be translating from Chinese into English? They own the largest motorcycle audience what the hell does that mean. or we own the most prestigious Slingshot community what the hell does that mean do they own a bunch of house in the town of Slingshot. I know I cannot write a coherent letter but I am not selling a written product that I expect others to read. This person should be left on the playground zone with his other 8 year old writers.:thumbdown:

I did go to a local muffler store which does custom race exhaust and they only have car exhaust parts. They suggested that I look at motorcycle parts. I contacted supertrapp and they have no dimensions on there site and were not helpful. I have left 2 messages with vendors on this site and they have not return my questions. I will take a measurement tonight I know the quad end is 3" OD.

I broke down and installed a new muffler system at SSITRS to get rid of heat. It worked not bad but it is loud with all the noise coming around the licence plate. I would like to move the
exhaust down to the rear wheel and put on a small resonator. I have filled out web forms made long distance phone calls to voice mail but have not received any help from the manufacturers on this forum. Any idea where I can purchase a small resonator. I see them as part of a system but only need that for now.

    Hi Bill,

Sorry I missed you in Vail but we will meet again. I was just wondering how to send all my single socks to you or now you have twice as many in your sock drawer so you may not need them.:thumbsup: It seems every time I do laundry the Gremlins take one. Hope your doing well. We will see what is happening in September but last September ride finished with lots of snow the next day.
