the problem with all of these numbers is that no one knows how many people have actually been infected - unless every single person were tested the total number of infected can never be known and trying to figure out the percentage of people that die is impossible when you only have the numerator.

Right now there could be hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of people world wide that have been infected that either had no symptoms or very moderate symptoms that never even knew they had it and will never be tested.

without both the numerator and the denominator you might as well be throwing darts an numbers on a dart board - - its all just guess work

Heck unless they at some point run antibody tests on every single person in the country the real mortality rate will never be known

More importantly I got my social distancing project supply shipment from Walmart today (actually got the oil Monday but the filter arrived today)

Seems as if the only sea food left for Bigdog would be Vietnamese farm raised tilapia 😜

As a side note, from what I hear they feed the tilapia raw sewage so it would already be full of s#it and should be perfect

I find it very refreshing that Newsom can acknowledge that Trump has in fact been an asset to the State in this fight - - like I said above not all liberals are stupid enough to let their dislike of Trump get in the way of getting things done - - Newsom knows that it is in California's best interest.

Newsom is far to liberal to ever get my vote, but at least he can still be honest and recognize it when Trump does something good - - - unlike the little minds of the obsessed Trump haters

I guess its a matter of taste - I have had Maine lobster on several occasions, a few times live right out of the water when I have been in Boston and many more times at restaurants here in California and I prefer the Australian I have had - to me it is sweeter and has a better texture

New York City is very densely populated compared to other areas even LA as such not sure they are representative

Also I'm not sure the advice of Italians in Italy is necessarily the best - - heck they still haven't closed their borders and they didnt really shut down businesses and restrict travel until March 23 - - - they waited much longer than many States here did

Also Italy got hit much faster and harder than many other places because of a very large population of Chinese, immigrant domestic workers that were traveling to and from some of the hardest hit areas of China for long time before restrictions shut it down.

One of the best things Trump has done and done very quickly was to implement travel restrictions - probably saved countless lives

Not Good!! - - as So Cal goes Riverside County is not a heavily populated area - - makes me wonder how things will go in areas like San Francisco and Los Angeles - - - -

must admit I was surprised when I saw this chart last night how low California is compared to the others on the chart - - kind of figured we would be up there right behind New York - - - - - especially considering our homeless problems and lack of sanitation in the LA and Bay areas.

Too soon? - - Hard to say, if they can do this and still provide a safe working environment with proper precautions then I think they should go for it.

We keep hearing about "essential" businesses being told they need to stay open - well personally I think that keeping as many people working as possible is pretty darn "essential" if we want to come out of the other side of this thing with something that will allow us to recover quickly

I think when and where people can start getting back to work is going to be very different depending on location - some areas will be in much better shape and ready to go much sooner than others - I think waiting for some kind of National "all clear" would be a huge mistake - areas that are ready should not have to wait for the other less ready areas to catch up

I tried watching a few of Sams videos when doing things to my Slingshot, but always ended up using other sources with written instructions. It has nothing to do with Sam or his videos, I just prefer written step by step instructions and find they work better for me than trying to start and stop video instructions.

Having said that I wish Sam nothing but the best and I hope he found his safe space where he doesn't have to hear anything he doesn't like - - - I don't understand the need for it, but I still hope he found it.

as of yesterday our county leaders (Riverside) have said that everyone should cover their face when out in public - they also made it clear that it need not be a medical grade mask, even a scarf will do.

I think its aimed more at reducing the distance a cough or sneeze will carry a virus and as a physiological tool to make people feel better than as real protection.
