Finally got it all assembled. Pair of pliers made sure the screw is tight so the camera frame doesn't fall forward, and since the camera pops out the top of the frame I am not worried about needing to remove and replace the screw. Looks sharp. Thanks again, Kyle!

Same frame here and I replaced the knob with a shorter bolt, tighten it with a nut driver - figure this way no one can mess with it

FYI....do it or not......if you want those iCloud pictures download them to your hard drive.....the internet is going down shortly and never coming back....everything will be lost... entirely new internet is coming....it won’t be anything like the one we use now..

fYI I have 25,155 photos stored in my Apple I-Cloud drive, every single one of those photos is also stored locally as full size original files on an external SSD as a part of my photos library and that drive and library is also completely backed up to another 1TB external drive as a part of my Time Machine backup.

My photos and documents are important, as such I like to have both local backup and off site I-Cloud copies of everything.

originals + local backup copies + off site backup copies = security

I must admit I have never understood why some idiots think they should hold a hand gun sideways - like they think it looks cool or something

you would think that with just a little practice they would figure out that it really isnt the best way

oh well - I guess its better for the rest of us

also of interest to me personally would be where my 9mm carbine might fall in his testing - yes it is 9mm pistol caliber, but it also is going to have the higher velocity associated with the much longer barrel

    Yea - - never mind

double tap - - - that should work

all the talk about dealing with summertime cockpit heat got me wondering how much the hood vent helps. I just pulled the factory cover off while riding today (82 degrees here). Holy Shit! Just that made a HUGE difference! So I will either be ordering a hood vent or picking one up from a vendor at SITS.

Now to work on adding insulation and blocking holes.

Shadrac I am wanting the carpeted trans tunnel covers like you have

I just recently installed the assault hood vent and so far it seems to have really helped - - plus it looks really cool with my double bubble windshields

    Picture show up well.

it seems to do what I wanted. I used to have a smugmug photo account I would use to host pictures, but I got tired of paying for it and then also having all of the same photos backed up to my icloud account - got rid of the smugmug, but then I couldnt link photos from the icloud and I dont like the way they look when I post from my phone - - figured I could use a twitter account thats free and only use it for this - - - I like free

I am a member of a couple of reverse trike groups on facebook and there seem to be a large number of these vehicles that are styled very similarly to the T-Rex - - although this is the first I have seen as a quad

    Breaking news:

Jockey John Velazques who rode Medina Spirit to victory in the Kentucky Derby last Saturday announced yesterday that he was turning down an invitation to the Whitehouse. When asked why he wasn't going Velazques said - "If I wanted to see a horses ass I would have come in second"

It makes one hell of a difference, with the +6 wind screen it was like riding around in an oven. The wind screen's that I ride with are cut down to the top of the center brace for a couple of reasons. #1 air flow #2 if you have ever had your wind screen to fog up at 85 mph on the interstate you had better be able to see over or around that wind screen.

I can relate switching to the OEM double bubble windshields made a huge difference in the cabin temperature - before with the stock blade windshield which was pretty low my legs and feet would get pretty warm, but with the bubbles the wind swirls enough that my feet are much cooler. I am also finding that my new hood vent seems to have helped as well

apparently the Bidens' stopped in for a visit with Jimmy Carter and his wife for a short visit recently and after the visit the Carter Center shared this photo - - it seems it is causing a great deal of chatter on social media - - just looks wrong, the Carters look like big weird dolls or puppets

Keep in case you trade up, you can put all of the pieces back on the old Sling

I agree with this and I also kept my original coilovers as a backup set just in case I were ever to need to send my JRI's in for a rebuild - - wouldn't want any downtime waiting for them to come back and having the originals would help avoid this.

Edit as a side note If I were to ever part with my slingshot I think I would rather re install the stock parts first and then give my friends here the mods - - - much better than just wasting them

Strange you should say that.... My SS when coming to a stop does what I would call the "whisky shake". You know, that shudder after the burn. The RPM's drop off and it almost seems it's gunna stall but catches it breath and recovers.

My 2016 NEVER did that. Even with the peddle commander the 2019 does it. Only stalled once on me but it is nerve racking!

my 2016 does this, but only on very rare occasions - seems to be only on that first stop in first gear after having been in reverse and only after I have first started it - - and even only every now and then

never actually stalled and never often enough to make me worry about it

does anyone know exactly what changed between the 2020 and earlier years that would made older roofs not work?

    roll hoops? mirror mounts?

not something that impacts me personally, just curious

93? Where can this elusive Mythical blend be found... I have heard it whispered about but.... 😎

If you ride down to the gas station at the Red Earth casino by the Salton Sea they sell 110 octane racing fuel - - - $7.69 a gallon currently

not sure its worth the drive, but their premium is only $3.89

    scroll down for current prices

As a side note some time back I was in Florida with family and when we stopped at one gas station I was surprised that the pump 5 different octane options including 93 and one I believe was a bit higher

    quick google found this

"Carbon Fiber (composite) drive shafts have a torsional spring rate a little less than aluminum and about half that of steel. The advantage of a lower spring rate is less driveline shock and a reduction of stress on other drivetrain components, as well as increased traction."
