So where were you when I needed G Code help. Lot of threading going on if you forget to turn off constant speed.

Wife and i will not even sit in a sling without a helmet. As a ex tow truck driver and a wife that worked in a hospital we have seen to many people die or have very serious injuries before their time. We wear full cover Shoei helmets with Sena 20s, we ride for fun and to see the scenery and to be able to converse without yelling. Of course we may be a bit anal about safety, we put seat belts on just to swap vehicles in the driveway. We even made it to the middle break at a double show drive in before we remembered to take our seat belts off.
To each their own, I do not begrudge anybody the right to wear or not wear. Just as long as they can afford the consequences of not wearing without my money keeping them alive in a vegatated state.
Flame suit on.

Does your CNC use G Code. If it does you will have lots of fun programming. Not to bad after you figure it out and get familiar with some of the commands.
Good luck, don't call me I'm burnt out on G Code.

Me to. I have had it for six months and have not gotten around to mounting it. Need to see if it fits in my oven so I can powder coat it.

Just in from the hanger. Pics on ladder give you an approx size, pics of mockup. May go a bit higher on actual mount.
Center picture on wheel is without any blocking up.

As soon as I get home I'll shoot a pic. Looked on eBay and only found fiberglass ones for the big dog and I think they are to small. A talented guy could fab on a mould and glass some fenders for us.

Bought my rear fender off eBay supposed to fit a "big dog chopper". Looks good as far as size and radius, just need to fab brackets to mount it.

I think he does most of his business on eBay. When I emailed him he told me to call him for a chat to determine what I wanted to do and what I might need to have to accomplish it. Seemed like a nice guy, but I have not called yet.
His number is (509)732-6286
Let me know what he says.

Doin good, I just can not get any life out of them. I have gone through three sets of the group 27 deep cycle in the fifth wheel. Seems like they are only good for about three years. I have the latest "charge wizard" on the inverter in the fifth wheel. They are always on a maintenance program, they don't seem to ever need water, they just die. Fiver is only 7 years old and three sets have been installed at about $260 for the pair. I do use a converter to run the fridge while in transit but also have a dedicated charge line from truck to trailer, and they still will not last for 6 hours. Going to go to some group 31 batteries from Batteries Plus this time to see if they will last any longer.

Yup, that's the one.
Thanks for the link.

Not a big fan of Interstate batteries and especially not after the ad I was told about.
Search You Tube for Interstate Batteries ad " Super Guy".
Not sure how to post a link for you tube, maybe someone smarter will help.

STYLN wrote:What blast cabinet did you go with?
I went with the harbor freight unit, mainly for the cost. I plan to try it in stock format and if it fails my needs modifying it until it works for me. Lots of mods can be done to them, a company called Tacoma Machine ( I think that is the name) has several different "packages" for improving the blaster. I did buy a lot bigger compressor to run it, i may even gang my other comperssor to help keep up with demand.
And to keep from derailing the thread I bought a small propane bottle topper type heater. No way will it heat my 32' X 45' 18 foot side wall shop. It does however help heat up the tools and area around where I worked yesterday. Temps in the teens and I had to turn it off before I quit working, thermal overalls are great.

So will it be licensed as a motorcycle (doubt it) or a car (You betcha).
Or did I miss that in one of the posts?

Not really sure if Bob's tune are that specific. You might want to get hold of him on his website to make sure. I need to ask if I can have mine idle at 1000 rpm rather than stock, helps to the oil pressure up. Just got home from getting bigger compressors and a blast cabinet so I can start doing powder coating.

Just found the thread. Wonder if that would be a good way to heat up my toy box where I keep truck trailer and sling. Might be to much smoke for an enclosed building. Might just go with the propane bottle top heater. It is presently 9 degrees outside now, need some heat so I can work on the sling during the cold months. I think first mod is going to be the ECU mod from Bob.

True words that explain a lot. It is hard on many veterans around most any holiday, especially those that celebrate the simply things in life that our freedom trivializes. To many veterans have given the ultimate gift of their life for those that just do not reconize or honor that fact. Many veterans fight the never ending battles within without complaint, without thanks, without simply understanding.
Remember
If this country does not remember and honor it`s veterans of the past, in the future this country will not be honored or remembered!
I am honored and at the same time humbled when someone thanks me for the seen battle, it helps the fight in the inward battles. I do not say this for any accolades for myself, I say this as a request that we remember and thank veterans when we see them. Just say thank you.
