What is considered "excessive"?
In BC it's 40 kph over (25 mph over). At highway speeds it's not that hard to get carried away. Or should I say "hauled away".

Off to impound for 7 days for excellent speeding... but they called it "excessive"? Just trying to be the best at what I do best.
p.s. It's OK to "like" the post. Gotta laugh at life. And I'll get it back.
Good to see the roll hoops held up!
In BC our Slingshots are registered as 3-wheeled cars and a helmet is not required (in my experience and to the best of my knowledge).
But individual officers may not be familiar with Slingshots (we don't have that many here)... and when I called my local police they had no idea and referred me to Google.
Where do you think your Slingshot fits on "The Affordable Fun Car Chart"?
And your other cars?

@Bob Runman is a forum member. He just dropped into the other thread about this beast, so maybe he can add some more details here.
Very nice work!
I see value in having reference material available for people shopping used Slingshots, just so that they know what's out there without having to try to make sense of all these threads and posts.
More detail would make it even more useful (eg. what is different from model to model). But this or the Slingmods page is still helpful because the knowledge will be lost if someone doesn't document it.
In time, hopefully this gives the West Coasters an event to look forward to!
I would love to attend an event in Vegas. Maybe next year. As I mentioned to @ivor if the event were a month or two later (later the better) the weather would be more reliable for people trying to Slingshot from the northwest. The weather at this time of year on the west coast (the pacific rainforest) is unpredictable and is often VERY wet. Great for hydroplaning.
But then @MBMedic went and made the long trek from Manitoba... probably left home in the snow... he's making me look bad.
if you are doing it yourself sit in the sling with your knees pressing hard against the steering wheel and your free hand on top pulling.
Give it a few good wacks and it should break loose.
That is some funny stuff right there!!
What’s coming is for the good of all the people in the world. This will be the biggest turning point in modern history.
If you are in the dark about it now...you will never know or understand the true magnitude of what this will mean to you and your family and future generations...
You aren't supposed to be telling everyone about this. I'm reporting you to the leadership. Sorry.
That little video also does an excellent job of capturing exhaust/rear end discharges (from the rear tire in this case) being sucked back into the cockpit.
First thing I noticed too. (Well, second thing.)
I'm worried that continuously inhaling tire smoke is going to hurt rabtech. But at least he'll go with a terrified smile on his face!
Had the urge to drive the Slingshot. Decided to risk possible rain showers and ended up getting surprised by hail (again... second time this month).
Just for reference, here's the original 2012 article online:

If only to get my ass waxed.
Made it safe and sound, and only a little saddle sore, lol
I'm curious (for my own future rides). How many miles/kilometers was that for you in how many days? How did you break it up?
It seems the first 3 gears are good for show, but no go!
Pictures or it... ah never mind. Don't really care.
