How do you like the quality of the pictures.... I have it at 92% quality of the original and I have the max resolution set to 1027x768. That seems to be the best for phone , tablets, and computers.

Ok. Ok. There is actually two new things that I am sure all the members will love. Basically some of us have way to many extra Slingshot related items... And we need a way to get rid of them. I know I have a few new sets of speakers that will fit in the speaker pods. And I believe Kenny also has some goodies. And right now I'm sitting on 3 new WIFI and bluetooth LED controllers. Not to mention a bunch of other items.

So , what I have done tonight is added an easter egg hunt to the forum.... It just randomly puts an easter egg on a page. You click it and it adds to your total... Your total can be viewed on the right sidebar on the main forum list page. I was checking to make sure it was working and ready to implement...

Kenny on the other hand is into giving quizzes to see if people know the answers. So if you look up at the list you will find a Quiz tab. Their is no quiz now but I have a feeling sometime next week there will be.

SO basically we now have two verifiable way to GIVE STUFF AWAY!..

I really would like to change the eggs to Slingshot related icons. I have a picture included of the 4 eggs you will be finding. I'm gong to also include the icons that I will be changing eggs to.

I Just wanted to see if you all would notice the eggs....

By the way, the eggs are displayed on a random number based on total page views balanced on the whole site so you cant just sit and refresh a page. Its really random.... I will keep the eggs turned on for a little while to let people have a chance to see them.

And the last thing ,I want to say is that I realize we are at the edge of "to many things" on the site... I don't want a cluttered site either. I like the fact that it loads instantly and performs well. So I'm done with adding modules and stuff like the easter egg game... I just wanted to have some fun methods to give stuff away. And this way the winners will be clear and everyone can see who it will be....

If you just need to quote a small part of someones reply or anything for that matter....

Just click and drag over the part you want to quote and then let up on the mouse and it will have a menu to pop up. Just click the "Insert quote" and go to the reply button and there ya go.....

I have also noticed a lot of people are posting picture and they insert the full image. I have a limit on the size but I try to keep that limit pretty big. SO if you insert an image and you want to make it smaller you can. All you have to do is once the image is uploaded and you choose Full Image and it pops this HUGE picture into the thread. Just click anywhere on the picture and it will turn kinda white... Just go to the bottom right and click and drag it smaller... Its just one more neat feature of this forum....

Below is a picture of how the image will look when you click it. Then choose the edit button and you will notice the ability to resize the image....

Definitely leave that tape off. No reason to use it. I am just wondering if they use that tape to temporarily hold things while it's being assembled. I'm sure it's structural and they consider it to be needed. It's just a real pain in the butt. And I have over 13000 miles without and single piece on mine.

I will warn you. When you put the plastic inserts back on the hood. Make sure they are laying flat and they are recessed into the paint part of the hood. If you just lay them on the hood and start screwing them tight from the back side you will snap off part your screwing into. I did one of mine and after I went outside and threw up I came back in and plastic welded it back on. Just be careful

I will shortly. Basically Tapatalk lets you build out a private app for your site and they have the ability to push it to the app stores. I tell everyone about Tapatalk and some like the app and others don't. I think its because they are not familiar with the proper setup to get what they want to show up. I also wanted to make it easy for people to just go to the app store and type the site name in and BAM ,, it appears and you install it.. No setup needed.

I have to pay a slightly higher monthly fee for Tapatalk access but it also lets me pass thru a higher content stream to the end user. I can also decide if I want adsense advertisements on the app. Have I told y'all how much I hate those....

Guess what! I am only putting VENDORS on the site. I am not subscribing to any banner service. I have NO reason to see a ad for a toaster oven when I'm on this site. If I get a few good vendors to keep the expenses paid and pay me for the few hours a week it takes to keep it fresh and updated I will be as happy as a pig in the mud. The site should be for us to come to and see Slingshot content. Not acne cream and appliances.

Ill let y'all know when both apps are approved and in the store..

I have nearly every site aware of this site's existence.

I also have submitted an App for Android and Iphone. I am just waiting on approval. Android should have it approved in the next few days. Apple takes a little longer.

Yea. I know. I had to fix the advertising portion of the site. I also added a few other features like the mini thread folder on the main listing page. I'll knock out the other states shortly. I am also going to combine two of the southern groups I think.

I have them laid out on the floor ready for me to sit down and apply them. I will do that right before i let it down off the lift.
