I read some posts on other sites that pertain to slingshots and a large number of people call their SS's by a name.
They actually assign a name to their machine! I'm curious how many members here have named their Slingshot.
I'll say right up front it seems a bit strange to me but that's only an opinion and mine. Here's what I found when I researched it.
(Societal norms dictate that assigning human names to non-human objects—a phenomenon called anthropomorphism—is a tendency we ought to outgrow; past puberty, those who still talk to their stuffed bunny or name their household appliances are perceived as immature—if not crazy.)
And if they name their machines, do they talk to them? Looking forward to reading the responses and to see if the members who do name their slingshots will admit it...
