When going over moderate bumps while on cruise control it will pop off. Reset RESET- starting to get old. My 2016 never did this . This 2019 does. Am I alone on this? I have an appointment for the dealer to look at it on Wednesday but wanted to know if anyone experience the same. And if they have a cure. 🧐

JUST a GUESS, but I wonder if the magnetic switch on the brake pedal might get triggered when you go over a bump? If so, a simple adjustment or replacement using the mechanical switch from SlingMods (https://www.slingmods.com/pola…-switch-tricled?vehicle=3) might do the trick.

I'd still recommend checking its adjustment to ensure there isn't any play allowing it to kill the CC.

this has happened a few times In my 2018. Never happened in the 2015. I will say it has not happened since I went to the quad kit

So you are saying a quad kit will fix it?😱

it came with my sling and I was not the one to install it. Is there a site that has instructions on the proper adjustment or can you and help me with that please?

Just what I needed... a 10k fix!

I am thinking that you could easily check for this if you just put your foot behind each pedal and pull back when going over bumps may tell the story?

Wow! I love simplicity! Individually doing this would probably be the way to go but great point!

Hummm so having the mechanical switch on the break but not on the clutch pedal would seem like it would be inclined to be the clutch pedal switch correct?

IIRC, the CC still seems to want to keep the speed up when the clutch pedal is pushed, but barely touching the brake pedal will deactivate the CC. Based on @DER's post above, I need to recheck my system since I don't remember the clutch disengaging the CC.

I thought this forum had a section for vendors to post Instructions, but can't seem to find it. I'd suggest contacting SlingMods for their installation instructions.

I just installed a switch from Sling Mods yesterday.
So I scanned the instruction sheet that came with it.
My problem was the traction control light coming on.
The switch has so far fixed that problem.
I scanned it as a PDF for you.
I also added a full color PNG picture

18K miles on Ruby, my 2019 has never had this issue.

I haven't had cruise control since we installed the Haltech
You don't know what you had until you lose it - unless you don't have it then ...........
All kidding aside I wish I had it. I heard it was a great way to keep from seeing flashing lights in the mirror

Would be my guess too.

BKL Thank you but I have the mechanical break switch installed now as you mentioned but good call!
I had to "tweak" the mechanical switch a little to get it to make proper contact so is worked correctly.
