I have a +9 ordered. As soon as I get it I’ll let you know. I did the +9 for my height. I’m 6’6”.
I have F4 +5 for sale if anyone interested.
I have the +5 with the Bulletspeed top. It still puts some air in. It seems like the +7 would put the air right over the top

I thought my next upgrade should be a top, now I'm thinking it probably should be a proper shield.
How much quieter should a normal proper shield (about 9" for me) be compared to a double bubble?

I'm just under 6ft and have a F4 5+ tinted. I did add the Baker 'Air Wings' --- keeps cold air out and brings in some air when it get warm. I have 94,000+ miles on it and love it.
I look thru the windshield.

I have a Madstadd +9 with TD top. I love it.
Madstad 9", the adjustable height design greatly reduces passenger compartment turbulence by allowing air under the windshield, no additional "wings" required. Raise it up in the summer to ventilate, lower it in the winter so to help keep the passenger compartment cozy.

You will notice a pretty big difference. I have pretty much owned every windshield on the market except the double bubble...but I can tell you that there was a big difference going from the Madstad that I have in my picture to the NASCAR windshield. Having conversations with riders was easier...and the radio didn't have to be turned up nearly to the same level. (volume went from 22 to 17). To me the The NASCAR Tallboy +2 is the best windshield on the Market. Mostly because of 2 things...the angle it lays and the width of the windshield side to side. The angle it lays seems to give you less resistance at higher speeds with out compromising visibility or safety. The Width of the shield is perfect to let in air around the cabin when it's hot and keep just enough out when it's cold. Styling is obviously subjective, but to me it happens to be the best looking of the windshields too. Just my 2 cents.

I got the +9 and it does put the air over the bulletspeed top. It is much nicer than the Klockwerx I had installed earlier. Also, the wife was concerned about stones and bugs hitting us, which is no longer an issue.

You are correct. That's why I was only going with the recommended height for my height (9").
here in the desert where it is often well over 100 degrees I needed all the airflow I can comfortably get which is why I went from the blade windshield that came on my 2016 sl to the OEM double bubbles - - yea it is a bit noisier, but it does make a huge difference in keeping me comfortable on those very hot days - - - even keeps the footwells comfortable

Yeah, I'm with you on the air. Give me all I can get. If I wanted to ride without air I'd jump in the truck....LOL

How tall and what kind of wiper are you using? Most of the ones I looked at seemed designed for 4 wheeled ATVs, so I'm not sure how it would handle at slingshot speeds.
