Wow. So if someone has already had the virus, or has had the vaccine, or has been in total 100% isolation and has no chance of being currently infected, or only has one lung, or a thousand other things I could come up with, and chooses to not wear a mask, they should avoid doing what they want or need to do because you or others were there first. Sorry I'm not on board with that. Your feelings don't rule society. Neither do mine. As Frankie55 said, we still make our own choices. Maybe if you're in public and someone walks up to you with no mask, you should choose to turn and walk away from the 'idiot'.

having had the virus does not mean you can not spread the virus and at this point they are not sure yet if having the vaccine means you cant spread the virus - - also if someone only has one lung or some other breathing disability are you seriously suggesting they should be out without a mask?
I get the idea of freedom of choice and rights and I am all for it, except when it puts others at risk.
perhaps my view on this is tainted by having a wife who deals in an Indian casino who on a nightly basis has to deal with people who want to sit at her table and put her and the other players at risk because they think they have some special right not to follow the rules - - My wife cant walk away, its her job the only blessing is after she asks them once if they do not comply security will escort them from the property - - even so she is still put at risk every single night despite signs everywhere telling customers that masks are required
rights are great - but they end the moment they interfere with the rights of someone else
anyway - I will drop this now and agree that we just seem to disagree - - no point in arguing - heck at least we agree on Slingshots

Wearing masks it primarily to stop the spread of virus carrying moisture droplets coming out of the mouth of the mask wearer - - and clearly two masks (extra layers of cloth) will do this better than a single layer - - masks protect others from the person wearing the mask - getting the vaccine on the other hand protects the person getting the vaccine - - two very different jobs.

and yes - even after I get my second shot on the 9th I will continue to wear my mask when I am in public around others - I will do so because even though the vaccine should protect me it may not keep me from spreading the virus and even if it does keep me from spreading it I will wear the mask out of courtesy to others who wont know I have had the vaccine - - no need to make others uncomfortable when its so easy to do

Had my second Pfizer shot 4 days ago. Some mild fatigue the following day, but no biggy. Now I can fly down to Boca Raton and visit my 91 year old vaccinated mother with a clear conscience. (still need to wear masks, just don't have to worry about ventilators.) I actually think it's the younger healthier people that will have more after effects from the shot, as their healthy immune systems will kick in more strongly. Just my take.
Also, with some hesitation. I submit that anyone can get the shot, regardless of status. Just make the appointment, and check whatever you want on the computer. Nobody in these CVS's, etc. will ever ask, nor would there ever be time, to ask for any documentation. You will get the shot. Nobody has "shot shamed" me yet. But truth be told, I am over 65.

My wife got her second shot Tuesday and had to stay home sick today. 101 fever, fatigue, chills and body aches. Not quit as severe a reaction as the first shot.

I remember folks getting upset about Obama saying if you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance. The Trump said if you want a COVID test, you can get a COVID test. Both were inaccurate.
