Yeah they pushed it back a couple weeks because of Slingfest Corpus Christi. I'm going to try to do Corpus. Kerrville maybe.
I would like to get to one of these bigger slingshot events this year. Texas is closest I've seen, so most likely will be one of those.
Chavey - why Corpus over Kerrville? Just curious as I know nothing about these events. More into the people, group rides, meeting vendors, and hanging out. Not really into sound competitions, car show type things, etc...

Are they not doing Slingshots in the Rockies again?

Unfortunately low turn out for that show...so there is a good chance it won't ever be brought back. I think the most we ever had show up was just over 80 slingshots...and that was a few years back. If the vendors would want to make a stop here, I would be happy to assist again.
Just an update on a few planned FREE events (assuming we can still gather in public without haz-mat suits)
Slingshots Uncorked in Clarksville VA- Sometime in April, we are waiting on a confirmed date for the Wine Festival
Lake Life Live Car Show and Concert series Clarksville VA - Once dates are confirmed we will schedule at lease one gathering in that series
Mayhem in the Mountains (Bristol) or Booze and Blues (Clarksville VA) - in late September we have not confirmed a location as of yet
Currently everything is up in the air until all the insanity is over.
These events are Slingshot Info sponsored event and will only be advertised here. Unlike the major events we charge no fees and most likely will limit participation.
I will keep you posted as soon as I have more info.

Just something different. Corpus Christi would be a smaller show. Arrive Friday, Show/shine/Ride/a couple vendors Saturday, go home Sunday.
Kerrville is a much larger show. Arrive Weds, Shows/Rides Thurs/Fri/Sat, limited number of vendors (mostly SlingShotOnly/Twist Dynamics) with a couple of other supporting vendors (no competing vendors).
My only reason is that I've done Kerrville twice and am close enough that I could make this a day trip if needed.

If I didn't have a trip to Vegas coming up, I would have actually gone down there and met up with peeps. I have a hard time letting go of this community.
